  1. Hey, How does that CODE work for the drug test they sent us emails about? oh, nevermind...silly question....But it self paid, right?
  2. it will be last week of July, like it will start on the 25th and will be due by Aug 1st as far as I remember
  3. as far as I know everyone will be notified after the drug screening and background...one of the reason for this particular background is that the hospitals require it as well. If one hospital refuse to take somebody because something on their record (regardless that BON cleared you), UTA says they ll see another location for you...
  4. Damn dude, $24 for a top only? I got mine for like $13 a piece. I got 4 because I think I d need more than one (but I forgot that we won't be in the clinicals every day..oh well). If I get sweaty , I can go and change during break...
  5. Running shoes are very comfortable in general, you can also put some padding inside made for people whose ob requires a lot of standing up and walking....
  6. Maan, it s not silly, better safe than wasting time with returning shoes because some teacher has "problem" with them. I personally don't see what s the point of ALL black or white to begin with or "covering tattoos" ...I don't have tattoos but still - it s 2020 - who gives a *** about tattoos, as long as they are not gang tats or something racists...
  7. somebody already mentioned that some of the teachers are very picky and would give you problems if logs or lining is not black and white. Wouldnt be surprised id they say that this is "absorbent material' for microbes and not allowed....The Pumas that some people already posted are with a leather tongue, so I was carefully looking at pic online to see specifically what is the tongue made of....
  8. Wouldnt be an issue because the tongue I snot leather but textile?? I found several models that I like but the tongue is textile. afraid they might tell me it s a No....
  9. When I was looking through the shoes online K SWISS makes all white and all black leather nice looking decent priced shoes....(sneakers)
  10. I looked them up - NOT MY STYLE, I feel I ll look like a dork in those, just a matter of taste. I m either into nice athletic kicks or rugged steel toe type boots. Then I guess a different color logo won't matter. as ling as there not to much with lining of different colors.
  11. I like those but the logo is gray and " MakingTheRounds, BSN, RN" said some teacher will make an issue about that , they want all black including logos and linings or or white. I personally like the Nike shocks but the logo is a different color as well. If it is an issue I will just paint the logo. I didn't mean painting the whole shoe....just the logo and make them all one color...
  12. oh Thanks for sharing. I still want comfortable shows so I ll chose them by that and use leather paint to paint the logos and linings. The quality of the shoe makes a HUGE difference on the lower back and the knees.I had a state gvmt job which includes a lot of standing up and walking and we had to wear black shoes too - boots or something resembling a boot. Some of the older high ranked people had already titanium knees replacements, or/and titanium hips and several lower back surgeries....
  13. Doesn say ALL BLACK or ALL WHITE so ll assume naything like theones in the pic would be good
  14. based on what they say about shoes - black or white leather, should we assume they have to be all black or all white? Most athletic shoes always have some different color linings etc, even the ones considered "all white" and "all black"....
