Has anyone else applied for the fall 2024 program at University of South Alabama and have you heard anything yet?!

I haven't heard anything. Anyone else?

Hello Jenn24!

If you're applying for the Fall 2024 MSN program at the University of South Alabama, here's some key info you might find helpful:

Application Deadlines: For Fall admission, there are two important deadlines. The priority deadline is March 1st, and the final deadline to apply is July 1st. If you haven't applied yet, you still have time until the final deadline.

Communication: Keep in mind that the primary method of communication from the College of Nursing is via email. Make sure to check your email regularly and add [email protected] to your address book to avoid missing important updates in your spam/junk folder.

Financial Aid: It's advised to apply for financial aid as soon as possible. For any questions regarding this, you should contact the USA Office of Financial Aid.

Admission Decisions: Decision letters are typically sent out at least eight weeks following the application deadline.

For any specific questions or if you need more detailed information, it might be helpful to contact the college directly at [email protected] or by phone at (251) 445-9400.

Hope this helps and best of luck with your application!

I applied to the late deadline for PNP Primary Care!

Hey y'all! I applied for dual FNP/ACNP. (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME - PLEASE DO NOT POST IDENTIFYING INFORMATION OF THOSE IN YOUR PROGRAM) said they're hoping to get decisions out the first and second week of July, not actually 8 weeks, so I'm thinking we'll hear a little something by next week, fingers crossed.

Oh really?! That's great. I was hoping it would be sooner since classes start before the 8 week period...

Me too! I was asking her how does that even work like...how would anyone start....kind of confusing so hopefully it happens quick. Based on your name, do you have kids? If so, what are their ages? If you're currently working, are you going to continue to? I have two kids, ages four and two. I'm going to work full time because I need the tuition reimbursement my job offers plus contributing to PSLF eligibility for prior loans and daycare, mortgage, etc. I'm kinda sweating how clinical will work (if I get in). I think I'll have to switch to working Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and then do clinical two days during the week for FNP (8 hours I assume) and maybe 12's during acute care part. Doesn't leave much study time or life time 😅

I'm going to be holding my breath until I see an email about admission status! I have a 1.5 year old, and we're planning to have a second either next year (if I don't get in) or at the end of the program 😅 I work per diem at two different places, one does 12hr shifts and the other does 8. I plan on working full time hours until clinical takes over my life, then eventually have to drop my hours to PT. Like you, I also have bills to pay so we can't afford for me to stop working completely. I'm aiming for PNP, so I'm a little stressed when it comes to finding multiple clinical sites!

Yall... this is taking too long 😂 I kind of feel like maybe they should have moved up the deadline because down to the wire is stressing me out.

I am STRESSING! Do you know if anyone from the early deadline has heard anything? I applied beginning of June so I'm in the July 1 deadline group.

I don't know anyone else that applied. I applied April 1 and haven't heard yet.  Next time I apply anywhere I will be prepared for the priority deadline though! 😂

Right!? I was kind of sketched because so many programs have a deadline months and months in advance, sometimes even a year and this is like HEY YOU'RE IN NOW START. Hoping this week!
