Does anyone like their uniform? I find my uniform top to be one of the most uncomfortable and unflattering things ever made.

Seriously I look like a love seat in the thing.

In what world is a 36" bust a size 14?? My bust is at least a 36", and I wear smalls and mediums in shirts. I may have a large bust but I have a small waist and fairly thin arms. I would drown in a size 14.

I think nursing programs make the students wear ugly uniforms so they can definetly stand out. At my school the scrub pants are by Landau they are white, with a stitched seam down the front and tapered legs. How dorky is that? The top you can choose a white v neck with the schools name stitched in turquoise, or a turquoise v neck with the schools name stitched in white. the lab coat is white. I like the flared leg pants the best. I am only complaining a little becasue it could be worse, like some of the other schools uniforms I have seen.

Wine colored scrub top and white pants... They are really see through!

Our uniforms are all white 'Dove' uniforms **shudder. They are fairly thick and stiff but hey, I won't get cold. Our scrubs are royal blue. I like those :)

That is my point, about size 'deflation". woman like to think they wear a smaller size than they actually do, so the mnft. inflate the clothing/delfalte the size. Marilyn Monroe wore a 14, at that time that was problably a 34 in bust.... somewhere in the sixties there was a change so the numbers are one "off" now, 34=14 now 34=12. I LMAO when is see measurements given of 38/24/40 and they claim to wear a size 8/10......

My school has navy blue Dove Apparel scrubs with our school name embroidered on the top and an optional white knee length lab coat thats also embroidered (which I bought just in case I get cold during or to/from clinicals, I don't imagine being able to wear anything else) I am just glad that I don't have to wear white scrubs.

All white...V-neck top in which we had to buy from the school, that has our green patches sewn on them. We were able to buy any style (white) bottoms.

I'm guess I'm lucky. Our uniform consists of navy blue scrubs (any brand or style) and white leather shoes.

You and I both... Ours is white and navy blue, any brand/style with any white shoe or shoe that is mostly white. We can also mix/match our uniform (i.e. White top blue bottom). We do have to wear a lab coat with business casual attire when not in scrubs on clinical days.

I hate mine. The tops are okay besides the material. Its itchy and rough. The pants however are too long and too big in the thighs and they're a very ugly green color.

Looking at what everyone else has to wear we're lucky. We have yellow tops and navy blue bottoms with white shoes. We are allowed to buy whatever cut of navy blue bottoms we want from the approved suppliers. Everyone is thrilled about that and swears their pants are the most comfortable ones. The top is on the other hand is standard with our school logo on the right breast and the fabric is itchy as anything. If you get cold easily you are allowed a long sleeved undershirt but it has to be grey or white or you can just wear the white labcoat with our patch (no one does this, it just gets in the way). The shoes can be whatever style you want as long as they are non-porous with no colored logos etc and are closed toe. Most people opted for plain white sneakers with the others divided among nursemates and danskos.

I hated our uniforms! Ours were all navy...we wore navy scrub pants (which were fine but we weren't allowed to have cargo pockets) and were allowed to wear a navy scrub jacket, but our tops were polos.
