REMINDER!!! The deadline to submit your Fall application is nearing. As of now, the deadline has not changed from February 2 (short of 4 weeks away).
This is my second time applying--I was wait listed for the Spring term. Currently, I am studying to take my TEAS exam again on January 27th. This exam was the only portion of my application I was not confident in. I scored a 70% without refreshing my memory on key concepts by studying before hand. I did find the test to be a "you either no it or you don't" kind of thing so from personal experience--STUDY!
I have no outstanding prerequisites and my sciences are as follows:
AP1. -- B
AP2. -- A
CHEM -- B
MICRO -- A
I had the privilege of chatting with the last group of students and found this forum to be quite helpful! Please use this post as a way of communicating, sharing experiences, and giving advice. Hopefully, we will be classmates in the Fall!:)
secquoria, ATI sends in the transcript the same day; however, it takes UMSON 24-48 hours to update SURF. I sent my TEAS transcript in on Friday and they received it Friday but did not update it until today. I did call them to ask if they had received it and the lady told me she did but the system takes 24-48 hours to update.

@secquoria - When you took the TEAS did you have it already set up to send to University of Maryland? I took my TEAS at a PSI center and had it sent to UMSON. So, ATI emailed my results to me 3 days later and UMSON received my results that the same day too. I had my test set up to send to the University of Maryland though, so not sure if you're asking how long it takes once you order an additional transcript off the ATI site. If that's what you're looking for, this answer is probably irrelevant!
A word of advice: I remember the first time I applied two semesters ago, I went CRAZY checking my application status everyday. I wouldn't check until early April at least. I know it's far away, but nothing it going to happen until then besides the receiving of our documents and such.
And just out of curiosity, is anyone applying to the program at PGCC?
Long time reader, first time poster. Decided to leave pharmaceutical sales for "real" healthcare last year, just got confirmation that all parts of my application for BSN Fall 2015 have been received!

@talfan i went to a PSI and when you go online to see your results, I selected to have a transcript copy sent to umson thereafter. I couldn't figure out how to have it done the way you did...

DO NOT APPLY TO PGCC!! I'm there now taking random classes to full pre-reqs for another school and this year's nursing class had the HIGHEST dropout rate in its history (I was told out of 80, only 6 passed)! Students are failing, the professors are inadequate and the program should be avoided! My classmate from A&P (which I also took at PGCC) was dead set on applying there but after discovering what happened she is going to apply to Bowie State University. The good thing about that is she'll be working harder to get into a program that will give her a BSN rather than entering a crappy program that will only give her an ASN...you've been warned!
Grrrrr....so even though this year I made sure to submit all my docs in early. My status still doesn't say "Complete and Ready for Review"! Apparently they thought I was a nurse and are waiting for my license, even though I stated on the application that I wasn't a nurse. I called and they said they would get back to me but I haven't heard anything. So I sent an email to them so they can hopefully change this by tomorrow. The sooner it's complete, the sooner it can be reviewed!

Hmm, I can't remember exactly, but I think there was an option to select a school on the ATI webpage when you first choose the "TEAS self-pay option"...this would be the step before you sign up on the PSI site. Anyway, this may not be useful to anymore, but I hope you didn't end up having to pay for an extra transcript!
I sent my TEAS when I took it in Nov and I think that may have been a mistake because it's not showing up as received. I Have the receipt and everything...I don't want to pay to have it resent.
Had the same issue with TEAs scores not being received. Called ATI and verified my order number and that it went to UMDSON. It seems that there are two options to send it to, UMDSON Baltimore and UMDSON Shady Grove. The ATI rep said it may have gone to another destination depending on which I chose originally so she agreed to send it to the school free of charge.
Since ATI sends your test scores electronically, make sure you are sending it to someone at UMDSON with the last name "Gasoway".
aspiringnursedd I would do what c'est la vie said. Call ATI and ask them where they sent the scores. Hopefully they can send another transcript free of charge. :)
