Hi People
I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
I recently received my DL. I think they will need it because they require original documents for the identity check. I'll juat try to request it again from our HR though. Thanks!
I'm not sure if you will be needing the original one for identity check. I'm still on the assessment stage of NMC and you just have to upload a copy of your registration certificate there, so the scanned copy would do. i don't know if you can also request another copy from the council.
Well according to what is written in the Decision Letter, the original copy of the documents that we uploaded in the NMC will have to be presented before we are allowed to take the OSCE.
Hello,Anybody here who is a shifter from other course to nursing? What shall i do with the education verification forms? Do i need a letter of explanation from my nursing university that i shifted and some subjects were creditted?
One more thing, for Ex-Saudi workers? In the absence of a police clearance NMC said that exit visa is enough. Do i need to have the exit stamp in my passport translated?
Thank you so much.
How is your application going? We're on the same boat, what did you do with your school documents, did you include your first school to the documents that you have submitted with NMC?
Hi pinkprincess22,
No i did not yet receive a feedback from them, I am just praying that everything will be fine. I will update here once they give me a reply. Kindly email me [email protected]. Thanks.
hi glovee, did NMC accept the blank RAV form together with saudi council good standing cert? I also sent them the same documents, but I think NMC haven't scanned it yet onto my portal. Have you receive any feedback from them?
I made mention of this months back but since I received my DL in just 5 weeks without any request for re-submissions, I will just reiterate the info I previously shared. I had my nursing education in 2 unis and although only 1 school signed my Form to accompany transcript of training, I still made sure to include the course description of all my subjects taken in my 1st school. I guess the only way for us to be assured of an acceptably reasonable assessment duration is to provide all the documents pertinent to our application.

When in doubt, call NMC right away. The call center agents are pretty helpful and straight forward with our concerns. I hope you got it fixed! Best of luck, @iampresrn :)
