I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.
I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.
I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!
Can anyone help me with police clearance from Saudi for nmc registration .I left Saudi MOH in 2011 without final exit(I didn't go back to Saudi after vacation )

I had the same problem with the Saudi Police Clearance. I left 2012 and was not able to secure one since I do not know that I will be needing it in the future. I sent NMC an email and they replied that the exit visa needs to be uploaded with official English translation and self declaration that you left Saudi Arabia.
I lost the copy of my exit visa so what I did is to send a copy of my passport stamp marked exit and had the details transcribed. I sent this to the NMC together with explanation letter and self declaration that I left Saudi Arabia.

I also dont have saudi police clearance and i sent an email to NMC they also informed me the same thing. i'm just wondering if that would be enough for them or they would still need supporting documents.
The documents reflected in my portal on July but I did not receive any feedback yet if they have a comment with the exit stamp that I had translated. The police clearance is so difficult to secure especially if you do not have anyone who can process on your behalf in Saudi. I am just praying that I wont have any problem as this is what they have replied to me by email. I also sent my Saudi Council Good Standing along with a blank RAV Form and the announcement that they are no longer filling the forms.
Just keeping my fingers crossed that they will accept it as I have left Saudi last 2012.

hi glovee, did NMC accept the blank RAV form together with saudi council good standing cert? I also sent them the same documents, but I think NMC haven't scanned it yet onto my portal. Have you receive any feedback from them?

hi iampresrn, maybe it was some sort of a technical glitch, try to log out and log in again, if not resolved you can contact NMC directly to report what had happened to your account.

hi, i have read from previous posts about the transferee thing, were you able to include your first school in your portal and how about the form? did you asked them also to fill out the form?
Hello... No i didnt include my previous school since my course there was BS Tourism, nothing to with nursing... Also, NMC just require atleast 3years of nursing education, I spent 3 1/2 years on my Nursing School so I believed it wont be a problem. Also, i was able to comply with the required duty hours they are asking so I think, i really dont need to include my first school,

Thanks for the reply, we're on the same boat but then I need some enlightenment with this. Would you mind to send me your e-mail so that we can talk about it. I'm really so anxious about getting at the bottom of the queue again if they will require me to send another document.
Finally received my DL last night after 37 days on the queue. God is so good! I've had sleepless nights of thinking whether NMC will require me additional documents but lo and behold, DL came at the most unexpected time, I literally cried and jumped for joy.
Now just waiting for COS and further instructions from my employer. Time to start studying for OSCE!
