u can prepare for ur nursing diploma, registration certificate, birth certificate, but u will have to upload these once u pass the cbt exam... i was like u before, preparing everything in the beginning but i advice u sincerely to take one step at a time. Review for ielts, then review for cbt... forms r easy to accomplish...

u can search and read the guidelines for overseas applicants from some sites. It will really guide you the steps for Uk application. But, i have to say that NMC have their own forms which u will process once u passed the cbt. These forms r for PRC and school to to fill up, as well as forms for your references... so theydont need to write letters with on a paper with letterhead bcoz as i said and let me repeat, Nmc have their own forms which will only be available once u pass the exam. So, dont stress urself that much with the papers at this point, instead, devote all ur time reviewing the royal marsden book for ur cbt exam! Best of luck!!

dont read the nclex. For me, it wont help since rules and regulations of US is different from UK. Second, CBT format is not the same with n nclex so dont stress urself that much. From my experience CBT is all about basic nursing and majority of questions were taken word by word from Royal Marsden Book. I totally adviced you to read that book from cover to cover. Dont forget to ingest every word about nursing code as well. Samples of questions i encountered from CBT exam: -simple drug computations: order was 1gram paracetamol, stock was 500gram/tablets - how many tablets to give -From royal marsden - steps to do if you were pricked accidentaly. Color of trash bin for hazardous waste. -nursing code - definiton if compassion.

Did ur DL arrived already? My agency is also from UK and im om visa processing now. So far, everything is good and my agency is really helpful. My Cos has been issued almost two weeks after I passed DL. They r even very much eager to take me as early as one month after my DL, but we have theee months notice here in An so they have been waiting since then. Then the procedure will be easier for u. U cam go straight to UK to apply as u said. Buy I recommend that it will be better if theres already a waiting employer for u. U can email some agencies or hospitals there and tell them ur situation. I think they will probably entertain your application since you have some edge which will give them some advantages too! Would u like to email my agency? They r UK based and I assure that they will help u all through out. You can even tell them which location u wish to work. Goodluck!!!

why would you like to transfer to UK when u r already in australia. I think, you can apply for a standard visa first then your employer will convert it to tier 2. But to be sure, you may check it online in Uk visa website

based from my experience - i studied the RM cover to cover and when i took the exam, 90% of the questions were obtained from them. Like the steps you need to do when you were needle prick. I studied the nursing code as well, tried to memorized each and every line. (Kind of good in memorization so I took advantage of that skill) i focus also on care of geriatrics (link from nmc website alone). God is good, i passed the cbt in one seating...
