  1. Hi Gloriajessica I had the same problem of having no maternity or paediatric experience. I managed to get some hours exposure to these areas through RN work (about 50hrs of each). If your training is lacking in any of these areas the NMC you state this in your application. There are forms you will be able to download and get your employer to complete stating you have exposure to these areas. Good luck
  2. Thanks regliph I am so happy to have passed it in one attempt........ Good luck with your OSCE...

  6. I passed the OSCE.......... It was so nerve wracking waiting the results!!!!
  7. Hi kizmwah I am very happy to hear that you passed the resit. I took the OSCE yesterday and am so anxiously waiting for the results I cannot relax. Most of the people on the day were very nervous. The whole thing was nerve-wracking! The first time you sat it did you realise deep down that you had not passed? By that I mean, did you feel that you were unsure about most or just a few things. Also how did you feel on the second attempt? Overall I think I got most things correct but there are just a few things I could have improved on. I am also very anxious because I heard they are quick to down-mark on trivial things and that there is a high fail rate.

  11. Hi JEBUK I hope you receive your DL soon. It's an ORDEAL but you will get there in the end...
  12. Decision letter received on the 14th October. Finally progressing through this system...
  13. Good on you foxtrotunicorns Did they give you the decision letter the same time they responded to your complaint. Or did you get it shortly afterwards? Believe me I have called them up complaining numerous times. When they tried to fob me off with missing documents issue I pestered them and eventually spoke to a more senior person. From then they re-uploaded my documents and put me in the assessment queue AGAIN but from 26 August. I am still, however, awaiting a decision. The prospect of waiting a maximum 70 days is so daunting.
  14. Hi Dee1986 Seems strange that they should ask for your date of birth. Did you upload your passport and birth certificate on page one of the online application portal? Also did you enter your DOB on that page... I hope they are not finding even more excuses to delay our applications....
