UK Nurse Registration Full Application and Assessment stage before OSCE

Published

Hi People

I am a UK born citizen trained in Australia hence I am going via the overseas trained route. I passed my CBT test and am in the full application and assessment stage.

I am interested in sharing information with people who are also in this stage of the application.

I commenced my application in 2013 under the old process which was rejected due to lack of clinical hours. I received a letter from NMC advising me of the new process. Like many people on this forum, this entire process has been long, drawnout, frustrating and tedious for me!!!!!!!

Everything is uploaded, last document over a week ago and it still says "More information required-feedback" at the top. Does this mean I need to call them? When will I know it I'm on the que?

"More information required-feedback" means you are awaiting for NMC assessment with your papers. You are on the queue by the time that your last document has been uploaded. A few of us (well, not a few but maybe most of us) called NMC to know our queue dates. Once you are on the queue for assessment, wait for 40-70 WORKING days for a feedback from NMC.

Goodluck!

Hi all,

Just want to ask if anyone of you here experienced getting an email from NMC requesting further information for your application? They actually asked me to update my TRF number in my online application as I incorrectly typed one letter as a number- that's letter "I".

I wonder if I will need to re-enter the assessment queue again and wait for another 40-70 days before I get my decision letter? Thank you in advance. la9MFCKoIaKIlaHjVuttgx238A8l+oISTPknrAAAAAElFTkSuQmCC

You can always call NMC and try to tell them your story and follow it up. AFAIK, you will not re-enter the assessment queue again. Like what @sweetisay mentioned, a few got their DLs within days after resubmitting some documents.

Hope you get your DL soon. Goodluck!!

Hi. Good day. I took the CBT last August 24. When I looked into the pearson vue online, the status said PASS. However, I still haven't received my email from NMC and it's almost 48hrs since I took the exam. My CBT status in NMC said "still in progress." Should I be worried about this? Thanks í ½í¸•

If that's the case, then most likely you will go back to the assessment phase. It happened to me because the registrar staff did not include the date when my ftatt form was signed by the School coordinator. Nmc is strict when it comes to that kind data. Now I have my DL, after waiting for a month.

Hi! May i know your timeline from the date when you are put on queue to when you received u your DL.

Online portal submitted - June 08, 2016

NMC received my School docs/Employer 1/Employer 2 & Cert of Good Health - June 13, 2016 (Uploaded to my portal June 28, 2016)

NMC received my Registration Authority Verification (Middle East) - June 03, 2016 (Uploaded to my portal June 20, 2016)

NMC received my RAV from PRC - June 20, 2016 (Uploaded to my portal July 05, 2016)

So basically, I'm on queue since July 05. One month now and still no feedback.

Hi. I would like to ask whether there are other forms to be submitted aside from the 4 downloadble forms in the NMC portal? Thanks! :)

hi nursecardio, how long did it take you to receive your DL, from where in middle east are u working?

hello everyone..

NMC is really strict with dates, but somehow their response is quite fast. I sent all my files first week of June, put on queue last july 07.received a feedback aug 2 asking me to update my trf number and upload my old passport, i did all of that then last week of august, received a feedback again regarding some discrepancy on my birth certificate. (UGH) how i wish they told me that during their feedback last aug 2. now I sent again the document they are asking so hopefully they will answer soon.

i used to email them a lot regarding something and they usually respond after five days.

anyway, what is the minimum score required for ielts ukvi if i already passed the ielts academic? i heard from some that score of 4 is even enough. any ideas?

and one more thing, how much are their offers to you guys for band 3? hehehehe

yes, it must be notarized. Which document did they ask you to be notarized?
