Hello!
I know this is a bit early, but I'm planning to apply to the apply to the UCSF MEPN program (among a few others) this summer/fall. I've seen similar forums for past application periods, and thought it might be nice to get one started so we can start to bounce ideas and questions off each other.
Has anyone been to an open house? Any information worth sharing?
Thanks for the update! I wonder if only the rejected applicants were sent a paper correspondence, and those chosen to interview received an email? That would make sense, and that is what USM and some of the other schools I applied to did...... Very few schools use means other than email to communicate, especially when flights etc must be scheduled for those bringing asked to interview.....
I got a rejection letter. 3.7 GPA from UCLA with extensive clinical research, volunteering experience, lots of leadership experience and community service, with a hard science major. I have also been extremely involved at UCSF (through work and extra involvements) and had 5 glowing letters of rec including 2 very esteemed UCSF endowed chairs/professors. Hoping my interview at Penn goes well. Feel pretty let down.

Hi all,
Long time lurker here but wanted to drop by and say that I received my rejection letter in the mail today. It's dated December 3rd and was mailed out on December 9th, just like the admissions office said. I live in the Bay Area so for those of you that do too... you'll probably receive something by today. I didn't receive an email and there's been no change to my application status online so it looks like snail mail is the way they're gonna deliver the news to us. Hope that helps to bring more clarity to some of ya'll that are still waiting. Best of luck!
