I've decided to go with Johns Hopkins University. I wish the best for everyone at USF, or whichever institution you've decided to go with!

If there is anyone looking for a roommate situation for the duration of the program a friend of mine (and former classmate) has a room available in a 6 bedroom apartment in Western Addition about a mile from USF. I did hear back from SMU and I did get off the waitlist but I had already been accepted to JHU so I declined. Why go for an ABSN when I'm guaranteed an MSN...? But now I have no idea what to do. I am very conflicted between JHU and USF. I have a lot of thinking to do and a very long pros and cons list to make.

I also received a call and have been accepted. My heart kind of dropped a bit. I have some big decisions to make very quickly. Congrats to all that have been accepted!

Morning! Have any waitlisters heard anything from USF yet this week? I know that last email said by the end of this week but I thought I'd double check. Thanks!

I unfortunately did not get a call today...maybe tomorrow. I think I'm going to have to set a dead-drop date for myself for USF soon. Eventually it will get too close to the program start date for me to prepare and get things situated at work. I am concerned about how long it takes to get the licensure paperwork processed in California and getting a job after attending an out of state school...even if it is Johns Hopkins.

When do you have to let USF know if you're accepting or declining your spot? Do you have some time to weigh out your options?

I applied for Adult-Gerontology.

I just called the SON to get a status update. She said final decisions should be made the 2nd week of April. I asked if we hadn't received an invitation for an interview at this point were we no longer being considered and she wasn't very clear..essentially her answer was "not necessarily." I am not sure what that means.

Has anyone else received interview invites? Any ideas if they've sent out all then intend to send out?

I received an email about financial aid awards but nothing about an interview. I Just checked my spam and trash. I find it odd that I would receive an email about financial aid award but not an interview.

What other programs has everyone applied to/heard back from? What made you decide to apply to SFSU? So far I've been accepted to Johns Hopkins University and waitlisted for USF and Samuel Merritt. I'm going to visit the Johns Hopkins campus weekend after next before I make my decision. I'd like to stay in San Francisco but JHU is a big opportunity. Best of luck to everyone!
