I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

Hi, yes I applied to peds! Haven’t heard anything so far but keeping my hopes up (kinda...lol). Have you (or any peds applicants) received an interview invitation ?

Yes I applied to peds too!!! I haven't heard anything yet, but will definitely update you guys if I hear anything. Did you guys also apply to CHLA?

I also heard of invites for 6ICU. Still haven't gotten one for my med surg preference, hope I get one soon. All this applying and waiting has me anxious right now!

Just got an invite for 4MN in Santa Monica. I've only worked there several times since I'm a RR float, but still super grateful. I was hoping to get an interview with 7W because I was on loan there for a 8 months and everyone knows me and was anticipating my employment as an RN there. Still, super grateful for a 4MN invite. Super nervous!

So interesting ? I'm considered a Santa Monica float and received an interview at RR. ??‍♀️

A classmate of mine received an interview for 8N, which is a Med-Surg unit as well.

Hi

I actually applied for MICU and SM Ortho department but got an interview for RR 7E/5E which is medical telemetry as per their website

I was a kinesiology major ( originally I wanted to be a PT) I’ve also been working as an LPN for a few years so hopefully it will help if they throw some clinical /critical thinking questions at me during the interview

Hi thank you! ? Received an interview for 7E/5E which I believe is telemetry... I dont know why. Maybe because they ended up having no openings in MICU? Anybody got interview for MICU?
