I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.
Good Luck ?

Just saw that UCLA's new grad winter 2020 application opened up, does anyone know what the "assessment" is all about?

Hi guys! I just applied yesterday. I wanted to apply to the children's hospital but not positions were listed. I applied to pediatrics and oncology at Santa Monica.

Hello everyone, I applied yesterday for ICU/Medsurg at RR. I am so nervous. Good luck to everyone who applies.
@NikkiW1098 CHLA just closed their most recent new grad application period a couple weeks ago. I think they have one in the summer though. Good luck!

Yes, I am an internal applicant and was told that as of now, if a unit is not listed then it is not taking new grad nurses this time around. Each applicant is offered the same units.

Hi everyone! I checked yesterday morning and the application hadn't been updated so I didn't end up applying until today. I asked for med surge/tele or OR. Praying I hear back from them?

Hi all! I just submitted my application and assessment. I applied for Med-Surg/Tele for my first choice and Orthopedics as my second.
I just wanted to update on the status of my application for anyone curious/ looking at this forum for reference in the future. My status currently says "in review" three days after applying. I'm assuming this is the new application system's version of "routed to interviewing supervisor/reviewing". Does everyone's look the same? (I'm sorry if I ask a lot of questions, I am a very nervous new grad and returning applicant.
Hey just checked and my status only says submitted. I'm an external applicant and I applied a day after you so not sure the difference it'll make. I'll keep you posted when my changes! ?
