UCLA New Grad Winter 2025

Hi starting this thread for the application this September 2024:) Good luck to us!!

Hi! I could not attend the informational sessions so I wondered if anyone was willing to share their notes and insight from the meeting! I would appreciate it if you could share the expected deadlines/time frames, important information we should know when applying (how to/documents needed etc), or any other relevant information!

Thank you in advance for any help!! ❤️

Hi! I'm currently in an ABSN program and realized how quickly this application approached. I wasn't able to attend the info sessions so any info would be greatly appreciate. I also cannot seem to locate the application. Can someone please post the link?

Specializes in New Grad RN.

This is my second time applying for UCLA's Nurse Residency Program!

The first time I applied back in March, it was for Med Surg/Tele Overflow in SM and the Medical ICU in RR. I got interviews for both units, but unfortunately didn't get an offer (MICU was only hiring 2 people, and there were 16 of us interviewing. Not sure how many people they were taking for MS/Tele overflow but there were 14 of us interviewing). I applied during my second to last term of nursing school, so I didn't have my license yet.

This second time, I applied for the Emergency Department and the Liver Transplant ICU. I passed my NCLEX and got my license in June, and all of my clinical hours were in the ED, so I'm hoping that would give me a better chance this time (-';

This is my first time applying. What would I do if I am interested in both OB and the ED? Do I mention my interest in both?

Hi! This is my first time applying to the program. I applied to Med Surg/Tele at RR and PICU at SM. Goodluck to everyone! 🙏

Good luck everyone!! anyone apply to West Valley location?

Hello! I recently just found out about the residency program and see the application closes today at 5:00 pm Pacific time. When I press the "Apply", I get an "Error Code." Is anyone else having this issue?
