I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

Hi everyone!

I applied to #1 peds #2 med surg and my application is currently still "in review."

I decided to bite the bullet and call HR about the status of the program and the lady that I spoke with said that all interview offers and rejections are going to be sent out in the next two weeks. The first round of interviews is set to start in December. Let's all keep some positive energy going for all of us here!

The operator was kind enough to give me HR's number 310-794-0500 and I chose #2 from the options menu.

Hi all!

I am relieved to have just gotten an interview at UCLA Samo in Med Surg Tele (4MN). I am super grateful and excited to get this chance with UCLA! It is also worth mentioning I am an RR internal staff as well, who got an interview at Samo ? seems they're into staff mixing this time around lol

Yes I applied to peds too!!! I haven't heard anything yet, but will definitely update you guys if I hear anything. Did you guys also apply to CHLA?

Same here, will update you guys! And @cs135 @m.anne.k I applied to both CHLA and Stanford too! Never heard anything back from CHLA via phone or email so assuming it's a no-go ? what about you?

my status is still “in review” hoping to hear back this upcoming week. I can’t wait anymore.

So even if your application says “in review”, you can still not get invited for interviews and get a rejection letter, is that correct?

Hopefully this isn’t the case. But it seems like we should all know the results by this week

Did anyone happen to receive an interview with Resnick? Or any of your friends/classmates? Psych was my first choice, but I got a Med-Surg interview. I'm grateful for this interview, but was really hoping to interview with Resnick.

Hopefully we get to hear some more good news for all of you this week! ?
