yep. i guess it's just frustrating having to start over again. i dont know about you, but it's a pain asking for letters of rec. there's something out there for us i'm sure.

I have soft copies of all my letters of rec. (letters saved on my computer) and I just print them out. You should ask your professors for soft copies.

Thanks for the feedback @ AngeeRN, I also interviewed for the ED at Santa Monica on the 11th and haven't gotten any information back, I know there were only a few spots open. My friend got his rejection call last night from CTICU, which I found interesting that they actually called to reject him, ouch. Anyway I was also wondering about ED so your post gave me a little insight so thanks! Does anyone know if people already got hired for the ED?? Good luck to those who interviewed!!!

I interviewed with the ED as well! This wait is killing me....!!! You said there are only a few spots open, do you know how many? That was going to be one of the questions I asked the unit director during my interview but it all went so fast I didn't have a chance! And as for knowing anyone who has been hired to the ED I don't, but that doesn't really mean much because I don't really know other people that interviewed for ED other than on here! Hopefully we hear something soon!:)

HoneybeeRN, I couldn't respond to your message directly, but my interview went well, I think! It was very short and I was thrown off by some of the questions, but I think it went well overall. I wish I knew how many they are hiring in the NICU, because it seems like they interviewed quite a few. Well, at this point, I guess all we can do is hope and wait! Good luck to you :)

Oh good, I'm glad it went well for you. Honestly, the interview was only 2 days ago but it's such a blur to me. I think I was too nervous to remember anything.

To all the NICU fpeople: same feeling, 20 minutes went so fast. I did ask how many people they'd hire, they said 4-5. I interviewed in the afternoon, and there might have been 4-5 of us...any ideas how many actually interviewed? They also said two weeks!!! I guess we just need to wait patiently

Thanks for the update. Good to know how many they are hiring, but that is very few. I have no idea how many they interviewed but I think they were interviewing all day so I assume it was quite a few. I interviewed in the afternoon and there were a lot of PICU people.

Yep, that was one question I made sure to ask since I wanted to know what my odds were! And considering they could possibly interview 24 people max in a day, sounds good! I'm from Torrance, like 30 min away. Where are you from? I bet they could make some kind of exception for you since you live far away..
