Hi everyone! Has anyone heard from L&D?

I haven't heard anything yet, but I did just interview this past Tuesday. I think she said she would call us back within the next week or so. Does you know if we would be doing panel interviews if we happen to get a second interview?

My sister's friend got 3rd interview for next week.she just wanted me to post this to see if anyone else got the 3rd interview aside from her. she got a call that day,Tuesday. I guess the unit director must have really liked her.=)

For anyone that interviewed for neurosurgery, the nurse manager just called me and offered me a position. =) Hopefully you will be getting a call soon too.

JustanRN, CONGRATS on being hired! Is Neurosurgery the same as Neuroscience/Stroke unit? B/c the unit director called me last Thursday as well and offered me a position :)! I was just wondering if you got called in, emailed, anything about when to come in to sign new hire paperwork? I'm just debating if I should go ahead and email or call the unit director to see what to do next. But I don't want to come off as aggressive or too pushy. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Let me know if any one hears anything back from Pediatrics! It's only been 3 days since the interview but I am already anxious! I have no idea how it went but I am just hoping! I loved it and thought everyone was so nice and welcoming! Did anyone ask how many people they would be hiring for Pediatrics?

To all the NICU fpeople: same feeling, 20 minutes went so fast. I did ask how many people they'd hire, they said 4-5. I interviewed in the afternoon, and there might have been 4-5 of us...any ideas how many actually interviewed? They also said two weeks!!! I guess we just need to wait patiently

I also heard that NICU is hiring about 4-6 new grads. That's a bummer, that doesn't seem like a lot at all. I interviewed in the morning and I saw the list, I'd say there were over 20 people's names on the list.

The UD said that we'd find out in a couple of weeks. Does that mean we'd find out if we got a job offer or are we going back for another interview?

I didn't interview with peds but weren't there 2 UDs there? One from SM and one from RR? I heard from the RR unit director that she's taking about 5 new grads...but I don't know if that means for both SM AND RR or only RR. Sorry I wasn't much help LOL.

hey, I interviewed on the 14th and I thought I clearly remember HR saying that if we didn't hear from them in 2 weeks to follow up with a phone call? anyone else remember that? Just called today and they said "after your interview follow up with the Unit Director you interviewed with," and they told me to email the UD (so I did, just now). I'll post if I hear anything.

I'm in the same boat as you - I interviewed on the 14th, but haven't heard anything back yet and I do remember them saying

Call back in 2 weeks if we haven't heard anything. I was curious, who did you call to ask? (just the general HR department?). I have the unit directors phone number because she was the one I interviewed with, but I know it may sound stupid but I just don't want to bother her (especially if I was just supposed to call HR). Thank you :)!

ok, so i'm not alone, phew. Yeah, I thought on the 14th they said to call HR, so that's who I called today, but then they were really brief with me and told me to email (they gave me the email, not phone #) the UD. ??? I don't want to bother anyone either, because I imagine everyone must be under a lot of pressure and it's not like they are "purposely ignoring me." I have some other interviews coming up soon, but I'd much rather work for UCLA, so I kinda want to know where I stand, right?

Where did you guys interview for? I am still waiting to hear back too.

I called the unit director and she told me there was a budget meeting that was delayed so I won't hear back until like the second week of may. I don't think you're bothering the directors by calling them, if anything it conveys your interest and gives you a chance to follow up the interview.

I haven't heard anything either, but I'm dying waiting! I was told in my interview that they would take about 2 weeks to figure it out, then they would call people back for a panel interview on the unit. I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything!
