  1. Does anyone know the official start date of the RN Residency program?
  2. I was offered a position. So happy! I really hope you all get the jobs you are hoping for! Good luck and stay positive :)
  3. Oh so you interviewed with both? I only interviewed with the assistant, who was very nice. I wonder if I should email the director? Yeah this waiting is hard! I just want to know. But she told me they would definitely let us know either way.
  4. I haven't heard anything from NICU either. They said two weeks and it's only been one week so I guess we have to be patient. Did you all interview with the UD?
  5. I believe everyone starts on a med/surge type of unit for the first 3-6 months and then you can choose a specialty after that if you wish.
  6. Thanks for the update. Good to know how many they are hiring, but that is very few. I have no idea how many they interviewed but I think they were interviewing all day so I assume it was quite a few. I interviewed in the afternoon and there were a lot of PICU people.
  7. HoneybeeRN, I couldn't respond to your message directly, but my interview went well, I think! It was very short and I was thrown off by some of the questions, but I think it went well overall. I wish I knew how many they are hiring in the NICU, because it seems like they interviewed quite a few. Well, at this point, I guess all we can do is hope and wait! Good luck to you :)
  8. Has anyone heard from Mary Birch for NICU starting in September? Sorry if I missed this on the threads.
  9. Those of you interviewing for NICU, do you have any sort of experience on a NICU floor?
  10. I also got the NICU call today! I applied within the first 30 mins of the application opening. NICU was my first choice and they verified my choice by phone. No RN license yet so hopefully that will not hurt my chances. Good luck to everyone :)
  11. Nothing yet. Good to know they are still making calls.
  12. reblRN, Congrats on the interview! Sounds like you might have gotten the interview because of your connection? I'm sure you are well qualified, but knowing the unit manager does not hurt! Hope they give the rest of us a shot as well.
  13. Parlislon - what units did you apply? They were verifying L&D vs. NICU. I didn't even know L&D was an option. Let's hope this is a good sign. Good luck!
  14. I talked to someone from recruitment and they also told me if you didn't hear by April 1st, you are probably not being considered. Did anyone get any phone calls to verify unit choices?
  15. I also had my Talent Plus interview last Tuesday and only received the reference e-mail the next day. I had the references finished on Friday. I wonder if I'll hear anything this week. That April 1st date is kinda nerve-wracking! It seems too soon for people who have not even gotten the phone call. Man, I am nervous. Good luck everyone! I'll be playing the waiting game too. For the people who have been contacted for an in-person interview, did you have your references completed after they called and how long after did they call?? It seems like some people got the reference e-mail early on while others got it later.
