did you apply to the birth center or PICU or both ?

I spoke to HR at UC Davis and she said that they have not yet called for interviews for The Birth Center but PICU interviews have all been scheduled. I guess the status is generic not specific to each applicant and when it changes to Interview then those that have been chosen to interview for the unit will already have been contacted. I do not know how many applicants they received, does anyone know?? good luck ... i am sure we will either way soon !!

Hi All! I went to the open house. If you have not been to Ukiah before, it is a VERY quant town. The hospital itself is small but the staff are really warm and the versant program is a great opportunity. The attire was business casual- some were in suits. They had a 30 minute slideshow, then you break off into groups for tours and have "circle time" where you introduce yourself and they ask regular intro questions (why you chose to be a nurse, why do you wanna work here etc) There were about 25 -30 people in our group. they are hiring for 14 Med Surg positions and 2 ED positions. They will be offering tours for the next two weeks and then notifying those selected for interviews on or near May 4th. Cheers and Good Luck !

uc davis medical center http://www.ucdmc.ucdavis.edu/hr/ they do not have a formal new grad program but have been listing a few clinical 1 nurse positions:). PICU and birth center are no longer up but you can sign up for their job agent to be notified of new positions. good luck

hang in there 75 was the magic number for me.... i hope it is for you as well:)

i woke up this morning to a dream that i had passed and i was telling all my friends and family and i was so purely excited ...which i have not allowed myself to feel for fear that i did not pass... when i woke up and realized it was a dream i just believed that i really did pass and i logged on to the CA BRN. Usually there are only two last names like mine but now there were three.....what do you know ...there was my name.. MY NAME, with a real license number and the two little letters after it "RN" i can not believe it. It was my second try. My first I got 265 and this time 75..... and I DID IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so hang in there all those that are still waiting for results.....it took five days to get mine ...75 may be a good thing 2nd time around :) i am still in shock ::)))))
