I know this is a bit off topic, but I am currently applying for a job as a care partner for PICU at Ronald Reagan. Can you tell me a little bit about your experience as a care partner and stress load, any tips, and or advice ? I just got my CNA license and have no experience, but I think my interview went really well. I'm just waiting to hear back and nervous about working there.

I am interviewing for the cardiac surgery unit on April 14th. I believe a lot of the medical/surgical interviews will be then.

I called today and asked for the status of my application. She didn't ask for my name but she asked if I had my Talentplus interview and what unit I applied. I said I did almost 2 weeks ago and I chose OR. She said wait for 1-2 weeks because they haven't started calling people for interview for OR. She said OR interview is towards the end. Hope this helps. crossing my finger. =)

so they only took the first 300 applications? do you guys think they actually listen to that phone interview? cause i felt mine was crap, but I'm interviewing for an ICU on April 11. it sucks that we only get one chance, I really wanted ER or psych : (

Was your first choice unit ICU? How come you're interviewing for it if your heart is set in the ER?

Either way, ICU is a great unit. Which ICU are you interviewing for? Good luck!!
