Was your first choice unit ICU? How come you're interviewing for it if your heart is set in the ER?

ICU is my area of least expertise, but something i'm really interested in.

I was assuming that it was the only phone call I was going to get, so I just took it. HR said it wouldn't be fair to all applicants if we all get 2/3 interviews.

No she wouldn't really tell me. She said it's a "full day" of interviews and there were 7 ppl interviewing so far. Are you from LA?

they called you first for a phone interview which is mostly behavioral questions, the second interview is in person where you get a chance to interview with the unit director from the units you chose. But you only get one chance for an in person interview this year. im not sure about the selection process though, or how they narrowed people down.
