Hi everyone! I have started working on my application for the UCLA MECN program for Fall 2022 and didn't see a forum so I decided to make one so we can experience this process together and help each other out!! ?

I’m still holding hope. I mean why wouldn’t they release rejections at the same time? It seems cruel to make us wait longer like someone had said? Like if anyone decides to email them please let me know!
Yeah hope is good, but it just doesn’t make sense to send out the waitlist and not all the admits at the same time. Also I went to graduate school before and rejection letters are typically sent after admit. But who knows. Guess we won’t know until we know.

Thanks for sharing! I'm leaning towards declining UCLA but am taking the weekend to think about it.

Everyone agreed with me that I got in all we need to do now is submit the transcript and take epidemiology. I’m 99%sure we were admitted
Literally same haha. I forwarded it to some friends and family like “I’m in!… I think? What’s your take?” with the same general consensus as your family- convoluted wording but take home point is consider it an acceptance letter as long as the epi/transcript reqs are satisfied.
I live in Burbank so I might just drive down there on Monday and see if I can catch any of the admissions/grad division people/(MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) to clarify in person (and will post if I get an answer!)

@Cmayerick OMG I’m currently looking at apartments in Burnbank. Any recommendations on specific street?
*From what I’ve gotten our official letter will be released in a week. Don’t forget to email the person (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) wrote about in the email. I’m hoping to send out all my stuff today and sign up for the epi class at UCLA as soon as possible.

The Epi class is very doable and very interesting!! I have some old resources and notes if you need anything!

A lot of UCLA staff is still working remotely (especially in the administration side of things) so I would call first before driving down! From what I read in last years posts, we are 99.9% admitted and as long as we submit our transcipts and other documents, then you will be fine to start in the Fall!
I was thinking of starting a facebook group so we can all get in touch and get to know each other!! Would other people be interested in this?
Congrats to everyone who has been accepted!!? I emailed (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) earlier today asking if decisions are still being released and he said that the SON and the Graduate Division are still working on releasing decisions. Now I am not sure if that means more acceptances/waitlists are going to be released, but I do think that it is a bit disrespectful on UCLA's part to leave the remaining applicants hanging and wondering about their status over the weekend, especially if it is a rejection. Regardless, I think I will be accepting my spot at Columbia and I wish you all the very best in your nursing endeavors! Hopefully some day we will cross paths!❤️
Hello, all! Just some notes from the Terms of Service as a number of posts have been edited or removed to comply:
1. Please do not post any names or other identifiers of program staff. This includes initials, partial names, email addresses, phone numbers, etc.
2. There are two ways to create a special area for your cohort, that are Terms-of-Service approved.
One is to create a facebook page. This link is allowed to be posted.
The other is to create a "Club" within the site, by clicking on the Breakroom link (upper left-hand corner, in the yellow bar) and in the green area, click Start a Breakroom Club.
Any other references or links posted are not TOS-approved, and will be removed.
You can find a link to the full Terms of Service at the bottom of every page.
We wish you success in your Nursing program!
Hi everyone! Here's a link to the facebook group:
I haven’t heard anything from them. My friend got an acceptance letter already. I don't know if we haven’t received any emails from them because the decision letters get released in different batches or what, but it wouldn’t make sense since there are people already know they’re on waitlist

The work day is ending soon so I doubt we will receive any word today they’ll probably push it all the way till next week. If they release the acceptances in waves I guess we could still have a chance.
