Is anyone planning on applying? Application period opens up April 29th. I am curious how it will work out with unit placement when so many programs in CA did not get to finish their preceptorships.

But, let's just wait and have faith. For sure they will call us. ?
It is? Maybe I should start applying to positions in Maryland ?
Also, I can so relate to stalking my application status.

I applied to both and both of my applications are under review! I grew up in the Sac area but left for school! My fingers are crossed that I get a spot at UC Davis and can move back home near my family!!

I don't know about the number or email or the units. But from previous forums, they conduct interviews up to a month before. Since there is an October cohort, you could get a call in September. It is so hard to wait. This is my second time around and the waiting is getting really hard. ?

Exactly me too!!
For those that have previous experience, did they wait unit the very last month to update status to no longer in consideration? I'm sure they have a pretty good idea as to who they are definitely not going to accept. I wish they would just reject those applicants rather than make them wait.

I applied in November for the previous cohort, and there were no updates to my application status. It just said "app received" and it never changed to anything else, until I finally withdrew my app last month. So sometimes they won't tell you that you're not being considered

Yeah... mine never changed until they posted the new fall program, then mine changed to no longer in consideration. And I believe I read that people that applied to the Spring were still getting called in March for their April cohort ? We May have a long wait... like until September.
