UC Davis New Grad Residency Fall 2020

Is anyone planning on applying? Application period opens up April 29th. I am curious how it will work out with unit placement when so many programs in CA did not get to finish their preceptorships.

There are 2 cohorts, so it's not over yet even for these units.

I called nurse recruitment today and was told that the majority of applications have been forwarded to unit managers and they should start reaching out to those selected for an interview this week.

Hey, you said you called nurse recruitment - where did you find their phone number?

I tried finding it on the UCDMC website directory, but it showed many phone numbers and IDK which one will contact the new grad nurse recruitment team. Thanks!

I called UC Davis Health HR and they transferred me to nurse recruitment - 916-734-2362

Yes!! And For the Spring application they called people up until April! This is pure torture!!

Don’t lose hope this early on. For the Spring cohort, I wasn’t interviewed/hired until March for the April start date. You still have several months before the interview period is over.
