UBC BSN September 2015 Applicants

Published

Alright who's applying to the UBC Vancouver BSN September 2015 intake? I'm a second year UBC science student who's applying :) Let's all support and communicate with each other for registration help and processing !

how does everyone feel there interviews went??

The first one was the toughest! I was so surprised at how nervous I was! The interviewers and facilitators were great though, hey?! Glad it's over!

Hi Guys!

I haven't been able to stop thinking about my interviews.....I keep second guessing myself and how I felt during them. I know I was very nervous, more so because I just want this so badly! I am glad they are over I think...I prepared the best I could have so I dont think anything could have changed there....I guess we just have to wait and see now!!!

SAME! I keep repeating the interview in my head and being unsure of how i felt during them...

Wait game sucksssss

Yea my first one I was SO nervous... towards the last one.. i felt so much more relaxed and I could just tell it was going A LOT better.

I thought it went pretty well but I don't know how well I did relative to other people because everyone just seemed so amazing :p Oh well, nothing we can do now. Good luck to everyone!

did they say we here mid may???

I was looking at previous forums.. ppl got there offers as early as the next week after the interview.. maybe they just changing it up this time around?? hmmmmm

They told us offers go out at the end of the second week in May. So I'm hoping by May 9th

I feel like they say that every year just for some wiggle room for them just in case it takes longer or something. But mid may should be when EVERYONE gets their status so i'm sure some people will get their emails way before

Yesterday they said 2nd to 3rd week of May but when my sister did hers she said she was one of the first days of interviews and she had her offer within 2 weeks. I just want to know either way....trying to prepare myself for the worst.

Last year I think everyone received notice -accepted, waitlisted or declined - on or around May 7th. It seemed as though everyone was contacted over a few hours.

So I'm hoping to hear by May 8th, but wouldn't be surprised if it took to May 15th.

But man, I need to start planning my life so it'd sure be nice to know!

good luck to everyone!

I totally agree. I received an offer for the Queen's AST program and if I have to move across the country I'd rather know sooner than later... So holding out for UBC. I'll be on vacation until may 10th though so it would be a nice surprise to find out I got in while I'm away.

Has anyone else been looking at possible housing situations? I'd be moving to Vancouver if I get in and from what I've been looking at.. getting a 2 bedroom place with roommates is much cheaper than trying to get a 1 bedroom place. Any interest? Or are you all already local Vancouverites :)
