UBC BSN September 2015 Applicants
Hey guys. So this year was the first year I applied.. and was accepted. I didnt realize how competitive this program was.. Anyways.. So for my MMI.. I practised with a few of my friends who were accepted into med school. I actually bought a MMI prep course online. it was only 25$.. but it kinda helped me.. gave me the break down of things.. my responses were very planned. I practised alot.. so right when I saw the question. I knew what to say/ what to think about. I am only 22. and I know my grades weren't super spectacular. like 3.4? My supplemental application helped me out a lot. I have a paper published, went to Peru to volunteer, I work in a clerical position at the hospital. In many ways I always felt I wanted to be a researcher.. but when I thought about it.. I had so many nursing-like experiences... that I just decided to apply. I am super glad I did.. and now I know this is where I want to be. But don't give up.. and start writing your supplemental application now.. even some drafts.. it will really help you out. I wish you guys the best of luck!

I'm from out of town and I was thinking to live on campus initially.. but after the interview.. I rmr they mentioned we would have our precepts all around Vancouver... so being on campus doesnt really help.. What is a good location to live in where I am close to the train... as I wont have a car.. .... all considering I even get in hahah. Thanks

The deadline to accept your offer is April 24th, and the deadline to pay the tuition deposit is June 2nd. The statement regarding paying 3 days after accepting an offer is for applicants who accept after June 2nd. that's what ****** said ... The advisor to the program. Yay for us

Hey guys! I have my interview this year. I am kind of freaking out because im wondering how 120/200 students are chosen. I feel like everyone is prepping.. and is going to give there answer.. If there is no right answer.. how do you get an offer/dont get an offer. And can someone tell me a "hypothetical" question u got asked..
