  1. Hi! I'm currently in my first semester at UBC-V! I just graduated from SFU in May, so I understand what you mean about spending another 4 years in school. I decided I wanted to go into nursing in maybe year 3 as well? But i decided to finish my degree ... And I don't regret spending that extra time finishing it up! In my opinion, I would shoot for the 20 month program rather than four years but it's totally up to you and how confident you feel. Your profile seems great and if you need any help with your supplemental application, personal message me because I have a whole month off in December :)! Good luck with everything
  2. haha i know!!! the schedule looks crazy
  3. All the labs are accurate because we need a lot of training before we start clinicals in September! Clinicals will be either tues/weds OR sat/sun
  4. Same that's my fear i don't wanna be late for class at 9am! I think the best thing is to try out both for the first few weeks of school and see how it goes from there. The good thing is we only have to go up to campus 3x a week once clinicals start so we won't be doing this everyday haha
  5. I'll be commuting from Surrey! I'm gonna be taking transit, but on lab days I might just drive depending on which time slot I get for the two hours.
  6. I'm hoping you decide to start this September!! But of course you know your own limits so go with what you feel is best for your health. I have been through my fair share of mental health concerns and it's been a long journey through university because of it, so just know that you will definitely find a great support system (including me!!!) who really do understand these struggles.
  7. Looking forward to meet you as well!! I tried to search up reviews on ratemyprof but i also couldn't find anything. I think we'll all just find out on the first day of classes lol ? UBC bookstore probably won't publish the textbook list until second week of August but the textbook list is up on the UBC School of Nursing webpage + there's a link for a used textbooks google doc on the UBC BSN cohort page (facebook)!
  8. Nope you don't have to be registered! Just google 'UBC BSN textbook list' and click the first link, scroll down and click 'program textbook list' and the 2019 one should be there!
  9. The textbook list is up for our cohort! :)
  10. Thank you so much @mb96!!! I think i'll pay one term at a time since I applied for a student loan from sept-dec 2019
  11. Nope you don't need to choose any courses individually! Just save that whole thing to your worklist at the top right corner! Near your registration time just click that worklist and you'll have an option at the bottom of the page to 'register all courses'
  12. Does anyone know whether we pay the full tuition amount (~$7000) before Sept 4? Or can we pay the term 2 tuition fee by January 2020? Not sure how it works, at SFU we only registered for 1 semester at a time
  13. Same! I had no idea what STT was initially. You just click 'Browse' on the registration section and then click 'BSN' and add it to your worklist.
  14. registered for my courses! this is soooo exciting ?
  15. Yeah I just picked the STT and that was it! I added it to my work list for my registration at 11am tomorrow
