  1. That's weird, I can still access it. https://allnurses.com/canada-nursing-programs/ontario-second-entry-952739.html
  2. You're welcome :). I'll actually be attending U of T, but living on campus is definitely expensive at any school. I would say try to find other Trent students to room with and rent a place close to school. Good luck!
  3. From what I've read, transfers are not allowed into second-entry nursing programs, and they don't accept students w/ prior nursing experience/education.
  4. You can check to see of the deposit has been paid on: Student Web Services | University of Toronto
  5. I'm also moving from Ottawa! I don't think one has been started yet. I searched for one earlier and nothing came up.
  6. Thought I'd start a thread for all of us starting our BScN at U of T in Sept. To start, anyone else moving to Toronto from out of town?!
  7. Hey! You have to pay via certified cheque. In the acceptance package, there is a form you have to fill out and include with your cheque. But don't worry, you have until June 1st to pay the deposit!
  8. It took mine 5 days to show up in OUAC, and 6 days to show up on the U of T portal. Congratulations!
  9. Congrats! Is U of T your first choice? You can accept, it will not affect your other offers. However, U of T does ask for a $500 deposit upon accepting your offer, so you might want to hold out if it's not your first choice...
  10. Yes, I graduated a few years ago.
  11. I think the "3 days within accepting your offer" part is for students who get their offer after June 2nd.
  12. I emailed Trent when I first got the offer asking if there was a deposit, and they just said there was a tuition deposit of $500 due by June... Now it seems to me that this would not have to be paid IF you don't end up going to the program (ie. If you accept another offer).....
  13. Congrats! I also got an offer from U of T Friday, and was totally shocked! Has your offer appeared in OUAC or Join U of T portal yet? So far I only got the letter via email and my first in nursing portal.
  14. I also got into Trent, and accepted the offer, but I will be canceling my acceptance because I got into my first choice.. The deposit isn't due until June, and it's a tuition deposit, which I don't THINK needs to be paid if you end up declining your offer for another school... HOWEVER, that's just my impression, so don't take my word for it. Either way I will find out soon, once I accept my other offer lol.
