I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
Yes, it did include all of the required sections. The advisor said to send in the scores and said that she has received a few that were listed as ADN. I'm thinking that it is the same test because I know that you are able to send in the TEAS test for different schools that you are applying to, whether it is at a community college for an ADN, such as HCC, or a university. Hopefully it doesn't affect my score somehow Thanks for the response!
I bet it will be just fine, and they'll accept it. Otherwise they would've said somewhere on the TWU website that only BSN TEAS-V were accepted, and I've never read that. I think you're good!
The lady at Denton said to send in the scores and call back in a few days to make sure they received it. It did seem like the same test, so I would be very upset if it did lower my score At this point, I'm just crossing my fingers.
Does anyone know if you can use a calculator for the math section on the HESI? Do they make you do half by hand and half with a calculator? Or is a calculator provided for the entire math section??
I'm taking patho in the fall at the Dallas campus-I'm assuming I have to have a parking sticker right? Any idea how to get that? I really don't want to drive to Denton.....

You can get it online! If you type in "parking permit" in the search box on the twu.edu website, click on the first link it brings up and you can read all about the parking permits and how to get one. I always get mine online and it's mailed to me within a week :)

I didn't have a physical calculator during the hesi. They did provide an online calculator on the side throughout the whole math section. Good luck!
At this point, I'm just crossing my fingers.
