I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!

However, on my score report, it said that the program I was listed under was ADN. I just wanted to know if you guys thought that would be a problem. I am very worried that I will not be able to use this test since the program type does not match TWU's. Thanks ahead of time for any of your responses!
Lol don't apologize! Really, the appointment is just for my paranoia. I'm going to meet with the admissions coordinator to make sure everything is "good to go," and have her answer a few questions I have regarding my transcripts. I also want to make sure my TEAS score got there and is the correct score, although I could've just called and asked someone about that. I guess really, it's just to soothe my worried mind and make sure I just haven't forgotten some important piece of information.
Oh ok I c :) good to just check everything.. Always better to go in person than talk over the phone..

Welcome to the site! Your program should say BSN. I would call a nursing adviser and ask what you should do...I'm not sure if the test is different for the ADN program. Did your include Reading, Math, Science, and English/Language?

As far as your TEAS...I don't know how that will affect your score; I think the best thing to do would be to call TWU - either the Dallas or Denton nursing department - and ask them. Better to be safe than sorry!

Haha I know that feeling! I submitted my app at the beginning of July. It's such a surreal feeling, especially since I've been working for two years to get to THAT point! Craziness!!!

Yes, it did include all of the required sections. The advisor said to send in the scores and said that she has received a few that were listed as ADN. I'm thinking that it is the same test because I know that you are able to send in the TEAS test for different schools that you are applying to, whether it is at a community college for an ADN, such as HCC, or a university. Hopefully it doesn't affect my score somehow Thanks for the response!

VERY surreal!!! I'm taking History 1302, Govt 2301 and 2302, and Philosophy 1301. I finish next Thursday!!!!

In fact, we are allowed to use the computer calculator for HESI test. :)
