  1. How was the interview for everyone? Was it panel or one on one? Also, did any of the managers have you tour the unit?
  2. I just emailed them this morning, so I guess I will wait and see what happens! Thank you for your help and letting me know! I don't know anyone who is applying from my school, so it is nice that this thread has people like you that I can ask! Yes, I actually went to my school's registrar's office for an official one and just opened it up and scanned it in so it has all of my information on it.
  3. Hi everyone! The last of my reference surveys was submitted last Wednesday morning. I was wondering if you guys think I should be concerned if I have not received the e-mail about my first phase being completed. I am having trouble finding the correct number to contact to check on the status of my application, and I was hoping to get that e-mail by open house. It would just be a little bit comforting knowing that they didn't lose anything haha! Thoughts anyone?
  4. I know that this thread is super old, but I'm applying for the June 2014 cohort. I currently go to UT Health Science Center- Houston. Reply if you're here with any advice!
  5. I applied and got accepted into both as well! Like you, I actually had TWU as my number 1 choice until I started to look into both schools more after I applied. I did end up choosing UTHSC, and I after I accepted my offer, I was slightly afraid that I would regret accepting it if I did get into TWU as well. When my acceptance email did come from TWU, I didn't regret my decision. I think UTHSC was the right choice for me, but I would have been so happy going to either school. They are both really great! Best of luck to everyone!
  6. Hi! The first wave of acceptances from UTHSC went out 2 weeks ago. Check your status on myuth :)
  7. I just got my acceptance email, but I'm turning it down. Best of luck to everyone :)
  8. So nice to have a new face following this thread! Best of luck to you :) I love the serenity prayer, by the way!
  9. I just got my acceptance email! Yayay! I still can't believe that they started changing statuses in October though! Congrats to everyone so far :)
  10. Hey, guys! A few days ago, I received a transcript evaluation. I was so excited to get it because I guess it's always nice just to hear back. However, I was looking over it and I realized that they did not count my AP credits that I earned from high school for my 2 Lit classes, Statistics, and Government. I know for sure that those 4 classes did have the same course number as those listed in the prerequisites and all 4 of them were given credit to me on my University of Houston transcript. I've called uthsc numerous times and they just keep connecting me to different people, and now I am left with anxiety! Although I have called so many times this past week, I still haven't gotten an answer for this and I'm just worried that my application will not be considered. If y'all could give me some insight, that would be great! Best of luck to everyone
  11. Hi! After several months of reading forums on allnurses, I finally joined a few days ago also. Haha. How did your HESI go? I was considering going to the information session on the 8th as well. Best of luck to you! :)
  12. My scores took about 2 weeks to get there. I did have to call admissions to confirm that they received my scores though. After I talked to admissions, they took my hesi scores off of my to do list. I think you should be fine! :)
  13. I didn't have a physical calculator during the hesi. They did provide an online calculator on the side throughout the whole math section. Good luck!
  14. Hi everyone! After months of reading threads on allnurses, I have finally decided to join. I just finished sending in my application and HESI scores, and I feel so relieved. Best of luck to everyone who is taking the test soon! :)
  15. Will do! Good luck with the rest of your summer classes! :)
