Hello!
I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
Thanks! I just finished looking up all my other classes for this fall, too. I think this semester is going to be TOUGH for me.![]()
I can't find anything on our teacher either. There's only one review on ratemyprofessors and it wasn't even a review for patho, it was for a different class that she's taught. Hopefully she's a good professor!!
I really hope so. My nerves about my HESI A2 test are getting to me right now
Hi everyone! I've been reading the posts and seems like there's a lot of new faces. Thought I'd say hi! It's been awhile since I've posted anything. Summers been crazy and I'm so excited that I have one more final to take today. I have yet to take my TEAS. It's scheduled for the 22nd of this month. Eke! Nervous. Is everyone ready for patho?! The book is a bit intimidating. :/
I will drop back in later. Just wanted to drop in and say hi (again) to everyone and hope everyone is enjoying their summer. :)

Glad you're still here!! :) Good luck on your TEAS on the 22nd! And yeah, the patho book has completely intimidated me at the point. :-/

Thanks! I'll need it. =/ I don't remember if you've mentioned in any of the posts if you've taken your TEAS yet. If so, how did you do and any advice to calm my nerves? =) I will start studying for the TEAS after my final today which will give me about 2 wks to prepare. I hope that is enough time. Considering everyone has great stats on here, it makes me nervous! Though I will come back and post my stats whenever I am done with my TEAS. I was also wondering if the nursing dept will get my recent transcript themselves or do I need to send a request to send it to them? Do you happen to know?

Yeah I took the TEAS at the end of last month and made a 92!! All I used to study was the ATI book and the practice tests. Read the book from cover to cover, and study what you miss on the practice tests! :) Also the online practice tests were really helpful for me too, but they're kinda expensive at $37 apiece. But they were harder than the real test so I was glad I bought them; they prepared me well. Keep an eye on the timer! I almost ran out of time on two of the sections. 2 wks should definitely give you enough time to prepare. That's about how much time I truly devoted to studying...if that.
The nursing department will not get your recent transcripts themselves, unless you took the classes at TWU. You will have to send them your most recent transcripts!
