I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
I am excited to take it. But I am really hoping my two week break between summer classes ending and fall classes starting will be enough...I took Micro and Stat in the spring, a maymester class, Chemistry and English over Summer I, and I'm taking 12 hours this Summer II semester...crazy. I know. Oh, and I work full time.
I'm thinking I will enjoy Patho though, since it's something that will actually interest me! Unlike government and history...blagh.

Don't get discouraged! Just apply, as long as you meet the requirements, you never know how everything will turn out or what the application pool will look like. Many people apply to several schools at once, when you get accepted they give you a time limit to reply to accept the offer. Some don't reply because they got accepted somewhere else also and choose to go there instead. :)
Hey ya'll. I'm finishing up AP 2 right now - have 1 test and practical left THANK GOD. Will take Micro this fall but would have loved to have finished up everything in time to apply for Spring 2013 so I'm going to apply for Fall 2012. I just figured since no one has created a Fall 2013 Applicant blog (it's kind of far away) that I would stalk this blog haha. Just signed up for my TEAS today but I'm taking it before September 1 in the unfortunate event that I do terrible and must take it again...
HAHA! I'm actually pretty excited about it...I think. I did get my book in from Amazon, and it's a MONSTER! It's larger than the A&P book - I wasn't expecting that!
It's called: "Pathophysiology: The Biologic Basis for Disease in Adults and Children, 6e." by Kathryn L. McCance. It's a black book with some purple and lime green on the front with white lettering! I got mine on Amazon. :)

I bought mine on Amazon as well. I think I paid right around $100 for it, but I wanted a new one. I found used ones in good condition for $85, so it wasn't that much cheaper.
Yeah I paid about $95 for it, but it's also because I wanted a new one. I'm going to keep it through nursing school so I wanted to be able to mark and highlight it the way I wanted to :)
