I know it's pretty early to be starting this forum, but I just wanted to put my voice out there and see if there is anyone else out there hoping to join TWU's nursing program in the spring of 2013? What are you taking this semester (spring 2012), and when are you taking the TEAS-V entrance exam?
After this spring semester of taking microbiology, chemistry, developmental psychology, and statistics, I'll be ready to apply before the September 1st deadline! I'm hoping to take the entrance exam in the summer - probably June or July.
So yeah, I just wanted to see who else was out there!
Airmail182: I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way about the test but I'm sure you did fine! The good thing for you is that you have all the other preferences. That's what I like about TWU's scoring system, They are all weighted equally, so it gives you a little wiggle room if there's one area your not as strong in. But, I'm sure you did fine! Are you applying for the weekend program since you already have your bachelor's?
No to the weekend program, my wife wants me to have summers off.
I scored a 78 on the TEAS. I wanted an 80 but I'm satisfied with that. The science section is the only part I did poorly on. Such a huge weight off my shoulders glad that's over with! My study guide book was VERY helpful I bought it from Barnes & Noble. There was even one question from the book on the test. Good luck to everyone.

Great job Erica now you can sit back and enjoy the rest of the summer. I take mine on 8/25 feels like am going crazy just thinking about it.

HAHA! I'm actually pretty excited about it...I think. I did get my book in from Amazon, and it's a MONSTER! It's larger than the A&P book - I wasn't expecting that!
I think I'm ready too! I was fortunate to have this whole summer off, but I needed that after finishing up my last 17 hrs in the Spring that included Micro and Chemistry together! It was insane. I'm ready to get this ball rolling though! Maybe Patho will keep us busy and distracted from this agonizing wait we have before us!

I hear you! I took Micro and Chemistry together in the spring too!! I'm taking 16 hrs this fall, so it should DEFINITELY keep me busy and make the time fly by much faster. I just can't WAIT for November!
