Hello Everyone,
Well I am currently looking to apply to TWU for Spring 2011. I thought it would be nice to start a thread because I am sure we will all need a good support system. The whole application process is so STRESSFUL!
Lets Get It Started!!!
Congrats everyone! So, when are we getting together to celebrate!
I did too misshopeful! She seemed a little annoyed that I wanted to confirm receipt, since I physically handed it to her yesterday lol, but with all of the missing scores and paperwork people had from the application process I was not taking any chances!
missmoe - One more silly question for you. I know during assessment (or is it clinical concepts?), you need a sports bra because you'll practice on each other. Does the sports bra have to be a certain color like the uniform? I only ask because I've spotted one I like on sale and want to snatch it up!
I have a question...how many people are actually picked for the Houston campus? I know that thousands apply, but I'm curious how many people they actually chose.
In April there was a nursing forum at the Denton campus. The Dean said that for fall they had accepted 110 to Dallas and 80 to Houston, and that it would be the same for this spring.

Funny you ask that...I hate wearing a sports bra. The change of clothes that you will need for Assessment Lab needs to be a sports bra or camisol (either will do) and a pair of shorts. They can be any color that you like and can be something you already own. Guys will need a t-shirt. You won't need any of that until week 2 or 3.

Perfect, thank you. And thanks for giving me a reason to go shopping today!
Are they done sending out acceptance letters? Also, anyone have an idea of what the cutoff gpa was?
Cutoff GPA is a myth...there are many people in my class that had 3.25 GPAs and then there are the 4.0 people. Personal opinion...I think the cutoff GPA rumor is to scare those with a low GPA from applying. It is fun though to hear how many applied and what the average GPA is...it made me feel all warm and toasty inside. You guys are very blessed to be getting accepted. Congrats again...I might see you all at Houston's Orientation :redbeathe

Yes, we should all plan a day to get together soon! And I was just wondering, in Dallas do the nursing students wear the white top & maroon pants or maroon top & maroon pants?
