TWU Applicants Spring 2011

Hello Everyone,

Well I am currently looking to apply to TWU for Spring 2011. I thought it would be nice to start a thread because I am sure we will all need a good support system. The whole application process is so STRESSFUL!

I have friends that still haven't received an email! Does anyone know if they are done sending them out or if they send out email of regrets?

What was the latest time that someone got an email for the Dallas program?

I got mine at 12:37....I was actually on hold with the nursing dept and My email popped up as I was logged into Webmail....RELIEVED!!!!!!!!

Mee too!! Dallas!! That means I need someone to take over my lease at the med center I. Houston! Let me know if you are interested!! It's right next to reliant stadium and you can catch the rails to the TWU campus!

Opps...nevermind!!!

I recieved another email an hour later stating that I will be attending TWU Houston Campus!!! :) So I won't be leasing my place after all!!!! Yay! No Moving Stress before school!!! Can't wait to meet all of ya'll!

I received my email @ 8:53am and I was accepted into Houston & Dallas.

My best guess is that they sent out the first round of emails to fill up the program and based upon their response that they will not be attending a particular program they send the next individual in the order of ranking an email offering acceptance.

Sucks for my friends that have not received an email yet from TWU! School won't be the same without them.

Okay, so I am happy either way this works out, but a little confused. Maybe one of you all can help me here. I applied for the weekend nursing program, but yet received my acceptance letter for the Traditional Dallas program. Do they not let you know if you were accepted/rejected from the weekend program? Or when you received this letter, that is your way of knowing?

Excited! But confused!

I am just as confused as you are about which campus I am suppose to be at. I think the best way to recieve a correct answer is to email the admissions coordinator in the email you had recieved today. I recieved two separate emails stating I am accepted to the Dallas campus and the other states I am in the Houston Campus. But both of the attached admissions letters state that I am in the Dallas campus. I'm just as excited and confused!!! I hope to get a response soon! Good Luck!!

aggiegirl - I was just reading the spring 2010 thread and that happened to someone there as well. I don't see that ever posted the outcome of her situation, so I think the best thing to do is wait in suspense all night and call tomorrow. :) Congrats!

Congrats! Yeah, I went ahead and emailed back my advisor about it, hope to hear from her soon. I had two emails today, both with the same subject title, the only difference was that the last one said "correction". However, I compared both emails and they are exactly the same... ?? Nothing is corrected on the other one. I was really hoping to get into the weekend program being that I have a full time job. :/ I'm just confused as to why I didn't receive some type of notice for the weekend program, or maybe it was a mistake... not sure... :uhoh3:
