Confirmation Hearings for the Trump's incredibly bad choices for cabinet leadership positions.  Traitors, drunks, rapists, pet killers and television personalities were the first choice of the mentally ill old man.  

My Senator, Dan Sullivan is all over his social media singing the praises of these folk so we should expect most of them to be confirmed.   

Hegseths hearing should be starting about now.

I watched snippets of Noem's confirmation hearing today. The majority of the questions were about the southern border, although several members tried to bring up the northern border. I appreciated that Senators Kim and Slotnick tried to talk about other threats, like recent events in Las Vegas and New Orleans, neither of which involved the southern border or immigrants. 

I don't like to body shame, but she looks so plastic, if that makes any sense. Women shouldn't have to share the same lips, eyes and hair to achieve powerful positions.

I think you put this in the wrong thread.  I really think he should let people that have already gone through the legal hoops in.   He should concentrate on people coming in illegally.

Trump's department of state tried to keep these Afghanistan refugees out of the USA during his first term, as you will recall. Pompeo, et al, slow walked all of the Afghanistan withdrawal processes and special visas after negotiating the dates and details with the Taliban. Then they were very critical of the images of desperate people trying to get in planes sent by Biden.  Remember?

The executive order is unclear. The VA has a 10% annual attrition rate. That means that they need to hire and train 40k+ people/ year to maintain.

Trump voters will sleep better knowing their price-inflated produce is not harvested by criminals.
