HI, i am lvn student who just graduated and planning on taking a test on this coming week. Today(a week before the test), I got a ticket(It was speeding ticket. I was going 80+mph in 65mph zone) and I am worried that I might get my liscence late even if I pass. I have been searched and they were saying that it might take about 5 months to get the card if you do get the speeding ticket that is over 300 dollars. I know it is going to be over 300 dollar more here in california. But since it happened a week before the test, will it be ok? I guess I am just worried too much here. the test and also the ticket that I got for the first time..... can anyone please help? thank you

I dont think a speeding ticket has anything to do with your nursing license.

Unless it's a misdemeanor. Which then it may slow it down a little. But probably, not.

We are not able to give legal advice.....I suggest you call the board and a lawyer.....Good luck, slow down.

In CA your arrest & convictons form states that you MUST report traffic violations over 500, so if it comes to more than 500 you will need to tell the board before you have the license issued. Just go to their website type in convictions in the search and look at frequently asked questions. Call them or email them.
