If I was like so many others here, I'd be inclined to dismiss this story and throw shade at the poster simply because of the source of the article. LOL.

Except, it's true! I go to Huffington Post first every day for headlines because they always seem to have things first. And they occasionally also have good articles.

Maybe.  There are true stories on conservative leaning news sites as well, but those are often discredited simply because of the source.

I honestly don't expect you to read or accept any sources which discuss the epic and corrupt incompetence of the Trump's.  You rarely venture beyond Ben Shapiro so this is not something that I would expect you to read at all.  I'm so disinterested in a Trump supporter's perspective on the subject that I'm not even going to try to appease your concern about the source with another citation. 

Oh well.

Finding news everywhere in the Phila. Inquirer today 4/2/21   ---barricades still needed  Did they know Congress on hiatus.   Per report, Capitol Police shot driver.

U.S. Capitol on lockdown after a car rams a barricade, injuring two officers

At least one officer was in serious condition, while the driver was in critical condition, the officials said.

...The incident occurred about 100 yards (91 meters) from the entrance of the building on the Senate side of the Capitol.

Update from Capital police on CNN 2:45PM: 

Driver with a knife  lunged at CP , now deceased along with 1 Capitol Police officer.

Metropolitan police will assist with investigation.

I'm interested in the comments and threads on AN, not you.  I will agree that as a retiree in interior Alaska in the late Winter, I do spend too much time online.

Imagine the courage!

I loved this story. I have Chinese friends and I have seen how the older generation appears to be controlling, so I can just imagine what it's like in China. 

Kudos to this auntie. Hope she keeps on trucking!

Anyone ever wonders about Palantir, Peter Thiel? 

I have a feeling that he's going to get into big trouble soon and he will be taking down far more people than Trump ever could. 

Ever since that Hulk Hogan business, I have been keeping an eye on him. Then there was that magazine he forced into bankruptcy and then he got involved in the NHS in the UK and I think something shady in Germany. He's a seriously dodgy character and always seems to be involved or on the fringe of something criminal. 

I fully expect that his name will be surfacing re Garland and some Trump's business. All these unsavory characters seem to clump together.

Unless I am wrong, I get the feeling that people are having fits of joy re Matt Gaetz's predicament. 

Can you imagine when Trump starts getting indicted for New York and Georgia plus the possibility of the rape charges and the Capitol Police and the defamation lawsuit, how people are going to feel?

I don't wish bad on anyone ,but man does he deserve some comeuppance! If Mitch McConnell, Bill Barr, Manuchin?, his weasel of a son in law and his kids gets drawn in as well, it will only be icing on the cake! 

I think that both Manafort and Stone or Guilliaini, Bannon will flip re their troubles because they are weak, cowardly men!
