What do you think about with current News and Opinions?

Something to understand what nurses think about re the Current News and their opinions!

Isn't it amazing the transition from Trump to Joe Biden? It's like going from a daily crack pipe to a  bottle of low-alcohol beer once a week.

The White House briefings now like NORMAL? There are no fights, no name-calling. No middle-of-the-night Twitter storms, no payments to Media stars, no start a war MAGA rallies. No Kellyane Conway, Mike Pompeo.

Seriously, it's like such a relief!

Watch Boris get a grilling! Seriously, he's too funny!

Boris is a dodgy character to begin with and he's always been a liar, not in Trump's league, but in a league of his own for a British politician anyway.

Both him and his girlfriend spent a lot of tax payers money re some refurbishment and for the last week he's been on the string dangling and it's been fun watching him wiggle.

Just wondering, why aren't women more worried about Roe v Wade, especially with the current members of the Supreme Court? I don't hear or see any activism happening?

In some cities, abortion is now being fined and criminalized especially in the south.

Let me fix this for you: Why aren't people more worried about Roe v Wade?

Contrary to your post pregnancy is not solely woman's issue.

For what its worth, I am worried, but with present members of the SCOTUS, there is no activism that is going to change their minds.

And yet people continue to risk their children's lives to send them here, and risk their lives to come here.

Strange.

Not so strange when you look at the 35 countries used in the rankings. The countries were those that had reliable data, so countries from the Northern Triangle (El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras) are not in the rankings. The only Latin American countries listed are Mexico (below US) and Chile (1 ranking above US).

Plus, many people seeking asylum have relatives in the US, so often children are sent with contact info for those relatives.

I was desperate to get my children out of  a dangerous situation I would send them to family if I could.

As noted, the poorer countries to our south are worse.  Still, shouldn't our country get better grades?
