since i am starting my second year of nursing school, i find comfort in the knowledge that most of your patients survive no matter what you do to them. makes me feel a whole lot better!!! lol!!!!!!!

I did this once at the LTC I used to work at and I sure paid for that one. Within 30 minutes 2 of my coworkers had to leave and my assignment of 7 residents turned into 22 residents for a couple of hours until more help could come in. And only 2 or 3 of them were out of bed. The word "easy" is the equivalent to the "Q" word.

Once you have an RN license and a little acute-care experience the sky is the limit. There is a branch of nursing for everyone.
You get to wear your pajamas to work.
You have numerous opportunities to overcome personality differences and dysfunction in the workplace and grow as a human being because of it.

Ok maybe i'm being a bit uptight, but I kinda find this offensive. I know its supposed to be a joke and lighthearted, but seriously, we have enough problems with our image without people in the profession joking negatively. Sorry to be a stick in the mud:bugeyes:
