Took my NCLEX-RN today!

Published

Hi, all!

I took my NCLEX-RN today, and the computer cut off at 75 questions. I came out of there feeling like my head was spinning!:uhoh3:

I got lots of SATAs(which I heard was "a good sign"), and all the questions seemed about on the same level of difficulty to me, so I'm not really sure what to think. I did the "Pearson Vue Trick" about an hour and a half after I took it, and according to that, I passed. Not sure how much faith I hold in that though, lol.

I find out with quick results hopefully Wednesday! I will update!

Class of 2010 graduates, post about your experiences with the NCLEX (RN or PN), and GOOD LUCK to all of you! And most importantly, keep your heads held high when you go in there and PASS!!:yeah:

dunno...if your name shows up on the BON site with a license # then obviously you are a licensed nurse

thanks for the reply!:)

I must say I feel a little better knowing that this PVT works for others in the pass. I feel a litttle relief, however, I will not be 100% satisfied until I get the official word. Just don't want to get my hopes up you know. I just want to be sure first before I jump for joy.

I took the test on thursday morning, so my 48hrs would be saturday morning. Will I still get my results on a weekend or will I have to wait until monday. In fact tuesday cause monday is Memorial Day?/

Once again Belle thanks for making my anxiety a little better. I tell ya this NCLEX-RN is a nerve wracking process...from preparing to passing to getting your results. Mama Mia!!!!

i have same exact question.. :/ do computers take the holidays as well? XD

taking the exam is nerve wracking.. but the waiting is twice the feeling of taking the exam.. i tell ya..i couldn't even eat well XD even i already get the good pop up from the PVT...but the official word: PASS on your pearson vue page still takes away the pain of waiting.

Exactly my feeling about Saunders. It's only good for content. I took Kaplan and almost all the questions require higher level analysis. Saunders do not...even their "Analysis" questions.

I take the NCLEX on June 17. The Kaplan classmates that I've spoken to have been getting very difficult, 75 question tests, which suggests they are staying in the passing range.

Good luck everyone!! and congrats to those who have recently passed!!

the qbank of kaplan is also good.. the layout of their window where you answer the qbank questions are similar to the real nclex which is good 'cause it makes you feel like you're just having another qbank day LOL

to those who are doubting about the $499.. i bet it is worth it :)

I take mine in 1 week. How did you prepare?

I take mine in 1 week. How did you prepare?

since i took Kaplan online course, i polished myself into taking the qbank questions (i took 100% of it)

and did the Question Trainers 1-7 although i admit, i got higher 50's to low 60's of scores. :/

so since you are taking your exam in a week, dedicate your 5 remaining days into

answering questions (limit yourself in 150-200 questions - more than that, i don't think you can even retain all

of the infos) review the rationale.

spend your 2 days or even just a day before the exam outside/enjoy a day out. i know you'll feel like you'll forget everything you've studied, but believe me, once you sit down on that chair, all the infos are fresh in your memory :)

good luck! :)

HEY GUYS TO EVERYONE IN FLORIDA!!!!

I just found out via investigation that you can view your results on the florida department of health for free. Free I tell ya you won't have to pay pearson vue or get ur telephone billed! I wasn't aware of that so I am awaiting my results its been 41hrs since I took my exam...Counting down my hrs to LIVE RESULTS putting an end to the myth of this PV trick once & for all, for myself at least....:redbeathe:coollook::redbeathe
