Hi, all!
I took my NCLEX-RN today, and the computer cut off at 75 questions. I came out of there feeling like my head was spinning!
I got lots of SATAs(which I heard was "a good sign"), and all the questions seemed about on the same level of difficulty to me, so I'm not really sure what to think. I did the "Pearson Vue Trick" about an hour and a half after I took it, and according to that, I passed. Not sure how much faith I hold in that though, lol.
I find out with quick results hopefully Wednesday! I will update!
Class of 2010 graduates, post about your experiences with the NCLEX (RN or PN), and GOOD LUCK to all of you! And most importantly, keep your heads held high when you go in there and PASS!!
Congrats Southern Belle. & Good luck to everyone else that is getting ready for there big day. I am schedule to do the NCLEX-RN in less than 7hrs and honestly I can't sleep I can't think. I am just a nervous wreck. I finally got the ability at 9pm to stop myself from reviewing anymore. I have been doing the Kaplan Review and honestly I was scoring 50-60 on the Trainers, sample NCLEX & Qbank. That cause me to be so discouraged, but for the past week & a half I have been scoring between 70-78 on the Qbanks. I did all the videos & I reviewed the kaplan course book from cover to cover. Nevertheless I feel like I don't know enough each time I do questions...God knows I do not want to fail this exam but I feel so overwhelmed & pressured. This one day will change my life for the better that in itself is a lot of pressure. I am just going to do my best & let God do the rest. Hopefully in 2 days I will be rejoicing like many of you guys. I just wish I didn't feel so nervous...why can't I get a hold of this feelings???
Thanks, all, for the congrats!! I am very excited :)
Reshaundra, I definitely will! I didn't receive my ATT until about a week and a half after my school sent in the affidavits. Board's slow here Even in getting our fingerprints and stuff up on the website. Hopefully you'll have faster luck!
Nervous grad, you need to sleep! I hope you have fallen asleep since you posted that. I know how nervewracking it is, knowing you're about to face this huge test the next day, but pulling an all nighter will only make it that much worse for you! You know this stuff. You spent years in school learning it, and what you are making on the KAPLAN questions are great! They told us, verbally and in the book, shoot for 65 or higher on Question Trainers 1-3 and 60 or higher on 4-7 and all Qbank. You're getting those and beyond! You're ready. Good luck :) Can't wait to hear you passed!
