  1. I was going to refer Kaplan even before I read your whole post, but since you have asked about it, I am now going to say, Kaplan did help me. I did the 1000 Q's, I even attended the online class, I mean c'mon, it's better than going to a physical class. You're in your pj's and yet, you are learning a lot. It is still your choice on what review strategy you are going to use. But I, too took NCLEX 3 times, first 2 didn't pass, but the 3rd one, I did pass. But I took my exam last May xD But the Kaplan review with online class helped A LOT. that's the only review material I have. :) Hope i made you feel better. :)
  2. you can check your pearson vue quick results on a weekend. it's just the BON list that takes time.
  3. i haven't seen or heard of someone getting a good pop up and then failed. BUT i saw a post here some time ago, who got to the CC page, thought they failed, but got a pass in the mail. they said it only happens in CA because the BON over there manually checks your exam results again if it is fail, if they can reconsider your score based on your answers. i hope this helps you ^_^ and by the way, just to let you know, i've been getting good pop up since the day i took my exam, i checked the quick results on saturday, and i saw PASS. :) so PVT worked for me. i know it'll work for you too ^_^
  4. i think, if the person didn't pass accdg to the pearson vue exam, the BON of that state would still be checking your exam manually. are you from CA? cause i heard that's what they do in that state. :)
  5. thank you so much. this isn't my first nclex-rn examination..so it is a big relief..especially in michigan, they only allow you to take 3 times, then you should enroll to an approved refresher course, then you can take it for another 3 times, total of 6..then after that i guess you can't take it anymore.. this was my third attempt and thank the Lord i passed this time! :)
  6. a big congratulations to you dear, i, myself did the trick and got the good pop up... woke up this early afternoon, checked my pearson vue, and the quick results were available... paid the amount..and voila! i passed! the trick is real..it's just a matter of logic there...of course, it won't let you register again if you already passed to that certain exam XD so, yeah.. congrats!!! it's time for celebration! wooooot!
  7. Quick results are available on weekends. I have mine available today :) i always get good pop up... i'm revealing it now... brb lol OMG THE TRICK IS REAL!! I JUST SAW TODAY THAT I PASSED ZOMG ALKSDJSALKDJSLKAJDLKADA THANKS FOR THE QUICK RESULTS!! LKASJDKLA I'M AN RN NOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW THANK THE LORD FOR ALL HIS BLESSINGS!
  8. since i took Kaplan online course, i polished myself into taking the qbank questions (i took 100% of it) and did the Question Trainers 1-7 although i admit, i got higher 50's to low 60's of scores. :/ so since you are taking your exam in a week, dedicate your 5 remaining days into answering questions (limit yourself in 150-200 questions - more than that, i don't think you can even retain all of the infos) review the rationale. spend your 2 days or even just a day before the exam outside/enjoy a day out. i know you'll feel like you'll forget everything you've studied, but believe me, once you sit down on that chair, all the infos are fresh in your memory :) good luck! :)
  9. i have same exact question.. :/ do computers take the holidays as well? XD taking the exam is nerve wracking.. but the waiting is twice the feeling of taking the exam.. i tell ya..i couldn't even eat well XD even i already get the good pop up from the PVT...but the official word: PASS on your pearson vue page still takes away the pain of waiting. the qbank of kaplan is also good.. the layout of their window where you answer the qbank questions are similar to the real nclex which is good 'cause it makes you feel like you're just having another qbank day LOL to those who are doubting about the $499.. i bet it is worth it :)
  10. yeah..MI participates in the Quick Results ^_^ so do they post it even tomorrow? i mean it's a weekend. i did try the trick again today after the maintenance and still got the good pop up
  11. i'm an international student as well, but i'm right here in CT now. i didn't get the international package because i did review nclex-rn with kaplan back where i studied nursing (not in the US) and when i got here, i also got the basic online package (that costs $499) i'm not saying this to discourage you, but maybe this just depends on the person to which books/studying style he/she's comfortable with...i did use saunders with my 1st and second try -_- and both of them i failed. i used Kaplan with my third try.. and now i'm still waiting for my results (but i'm getting the good pop up with the PVT and hope that works..still anxious with waiting...) but a lot of people here say saunders is good for the content review :)
  12. lol @ the gif... CONGRATULATIONS!!!! ^^ yep, the maintenance is over and i checked again..and still got the good pop up! will pearson vue still post the quick results tomorrow or i'd still see it on monday or tuesday? cause i couldn't deal with this anxiety anymore -_-
  13. hi ozirg123, i'm sorry i couldn't give you info about HESI exit thing, because i am a foreign educated nurse XD
  14. i just hope michigan works like this as well. my brain is about to crack because of waiting. i got a good pop up since yesterday hours after i took the exam and last night too.. still the good pop up.. and i think this early morning well. but they're on maintenance or something right now :/ i might check the michigan bon later at 1 pm cause i took mine at 10am yesterday too.
