  1. Took exit HESI 7x. I studied from previous questions, etc. NO LUCK! Then an employee sat down and went over 3-5 questions from Saunders NClex book. A LIGHT-BULB went off in my head. That setting was on a Saturday night (I work 7p-7a). That following Tues., after not studying anymore and doing 75 questions the morning of the last opportunity to take the HESI to graduate, I did what I learned from the Sat. night meeting with the employee. Although I only received 866, needing 850 to pass, I knew, in my heart...I passed before the number showed itself. My email is [email protected]. Please feel free to email me directly.
  2. THANK you so very much. You described me to a "t". I am seriously and "overthinker". I kept getting the same question which caused me to rethink whether I was answering correctly. With 236 ?'s the computer shut off. I took tooooo long. I will start tetris and questions. Thank you!
  3. HANG IN THERE! The worst thing you can do is GIVE UP. You've made it through LPN and RN school. You will do it! You first must believe you can and then claim it. A family member told me the other day, after my 2nd unsuccessful try, that she took it 3 times and a friend of hers, now a PNP took it three as well. Confidence and faith are key. Of course learning more decreases fear but believing rule out doubt. Keep your head up as I will read my response to you and do the same. (take my own advice)
  4. I personally didn't pass at first. I then went into the exam reading the last sentence of each question first. After reading the last sentence, I tried to answer with only that information. If I couldn't I'd pick at the remainder of the "stem" to see what information was needed to be able to answer that last sentence question. You can do it. If I passed, you can.
  5. The NCSBN site is no good! I signed up for the 5-wk class and it did not impress me from the first day. Everyone is different though. I finally started doing the Judy Miller CDs. These are unreal, AWESOME for audio/visual learners.
  6. I take mine in 1 week. How did you prepare?
