  1. woooow marcos9999, thank you sooooooooo much for your insight, that was VERY HELPFUL:hpygrp: I really appreciated the time you took to write back with so many advices (speechless). well, my problem on the nclex was exactly what u described 'over-thinking' I really wanted to solve each case scenario, but I just have to think of the test as "real" and being able to respond quickly as if there were an emergency situation. For the nxt test I will take your advice and practice with a timer. So again thank you!!!! Angelfood: I'm wishing you GOOOD LUCK:) dont be scared, im sure you will do good, practice questions and take the advices from all the helpful people here at allnurses!!! Let me know how u go!!!!
  2. Hi there:) I had my nclex yesterday and I was mentally prepared for it to shut down at 75 ++ questions, and as it continued I realized I didnt have enough time to finish 265 questions:crying2:... I used too much time on each questions as I applied the techiques from Kaplan, and I'm pretty much sure I failed:crying2: Anyone had the same problem??? It says that if you dont finish on time they will calculate the results from the 60 last questions, but at the end I was really tired and stressed:uhoh3:... well, nxt i know i just have to finish the questions A LOOOOT much faster.... sad nclex taker:crying2:

  4. CONGRATULATIONS edenprairie12:hpygrp: soo happy for you!!! I will have my test 1st of june and its been very comforting to read that you guys used Saunders and focused on the contents, rather than only doing questions, as I heard many only did questions, I agree how can you answer the questions if you dont know the content lol:) My area of weakness is Pharmacology, I was thinking of ordering "NCLEX RN Kaplan: medications you need to know for the exam 2008/2009", or does anyone suggest any better book for the exam? All help would be deeply appreciated!!! Thanks to everybody for taking their time and effort in posting on this forum!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :):):)
