hello everyone,
So I took the NCLEX this morning and I felt like I'm just second guessing in most of them...
My computer shut down at 75 questions. Had 12 SATAs, tons of Meds, 1 drug calculation, zero OB (Which was surprising since I prepared this time and the first time I took the NCLEX i had a lot of OB/Peds) and tons of prioritization. I'm very worried about the SATA's since I sucked at those as well as MEDS... what's frustrating is that some of the meds are something that I've heard before but I just didn't study much on it I feel like I failed again....
Don't have the gut to do the PVT. I'm not prepared to see the CC page...
Thanks for listening..
thanks everyone for the kind words! and good luck to all of you taking the nclex soon!
@nursetobe- i had kaplan strategy 2010-2011,saunders, qbank, and lacharity. I also have the hurst book, which i think is a nice book to boost your confidence :) If I indeed passed the nclex (which im hoping badly) then I would say kaplan and qbank would be life savers. I studied about 4-6 hours every other day..sometimes 2 days on my "lazy" days (yea its hard to be persistent sometimes, but I just count it as my "break" days so it wouldn't feel as if I totally wasted it for nothing lol) But during those "break" days, I'd go do qbank or saunders q&a questions (i have the book but I really didn't pick it up that much). My goal before was to answer 3000 questions before the exam but unfortunately I was able to do only 1000. BUT, I wrote every single rationales and studied them very well..even the ones I got right on. I would just say review the essential ones, don't put too much information in your head since it could only do some harm to you trust me (that's where you start to overthink and the "what if" questions come and get you). My first take I only had saunders as my resource and my only questions were the chapter quizzes (I know huh..what was I thinking) I hope that helps somewhat. Im giving you advices already when I don't even know whether I passed or not lol. Good luck!
Hi Jbreezy, don't beat yourself up (I know that is easier said than done), but the advice you've given is good encouragement for all of us who are still struggling with passing this test. Wishing you good luck and as another poster said, you just have to give yourself time and get back up again. Keeping my fingers cross for you.

lol.im a believer of the pvt thats why its a bit hard to do it right now. I'll probably have my boyfriend check it for me instead. I'd love to be the happiest person alive right now, I guess I'll have to treat myself regardless of my result...worked my behind off this test.
