Took Nclex this morning...

hello everyone,

So I took the NCLEX this morning and I felt like I'm just second guessing in most of them...

My computer shut down at 75 questions. Had 12 SATAs, tons of Meds, 1 drug calculation, zero OB (Which was surprising since I prepared this time and the first time I took the NCLEX i had a lot of OB/Peds) and tons of prioritization. I'm very worried about the SATA's since I sucked at those as well as MEDS... what's frustrating is that some of the meds are something that I've heard before but I just didn't study much on it :( I feel like I failed again....:crying2:

Don't have the gut to do the PVT. I'm not prepared to see the CC page...

I really hope that you pass, Jbreezy! I feel like our first attempts at NCLEX are a lot alike... I got all 265 questions and only took the 2 scheduled breaks. I've been studying pretty hard... I've done a total of 5,218 questions with a 70.2% average. I've memorized the infection control mnemonics posted on this site and made up a few of my own for insulin types/peaks. I'm trying to remember little facts and of course the usual big nursing interventions that you learn about in nursing school.

In all honesty, I am horribly nervous about the test, but setting the nervousness aside I feel more ready that I ever have to take it. I just hope that I can relax and make my nerves go away.

If this doesn't push me enough over the hump to pass, I'm not really sure what will. I test on Tuesday at 2 pm. NERVOUS!

aww... sigh, I hope so hun, but I really don't know to be honest. It was awful. I hope everything is well with you, just keep in touch with me ok?

You have been studying so hard and I believe you passed! I'll keep you updated with me I have not picked a date yet but I want to take it some time at the end of september or beginning October. I'm been studying alot giving myself breaks on the weekends. I am doing lacharity and Saunders, oh am using a private tutor as well. I'll keep you updated though and let us know when you pass!!!

Well i got sick over the weekend and the doctors put me on 2 antibitoics, needless to say they make me feel like crap!...on top of that the prescribed me Zofran and hydrocodone, because the antibiotics make me feel horrible, dizzy nauseated, headaches, i chosse to reschedule my test, which was suppose to be tomorrow. The earliest date they had was Sept. 20!...aaah!!!!! that is so long to wait!...

I'm sorry to hear that hun. Well, take care of yourself first I hope everything gets well before that date and may you have a speedy recovery! At least you get to study more and take your time! I'm praying you pass nursetobe! Good luck and keep in touch!
