took NCLEX this AM GOT 75...

Just to let everyone know....i got 75 questions and know I failed so yes you can graduate with high honors and fail.....that test was crazy...what do they expect from all of us we can't possibly know everything..i recognized absolutely nothing and the priority questions were nuts!!!!!

So yes it is possible to fail at 75, so I guess I will be doing this again in July!!!

And how do you know that you failed?

I would not think that way. First, the number of questions means absolutely nothing in determining if you passed or failed.

You are not supposed to recognize anything. The entire idea of the exam is to see what you would do in a certain situation.

And that you got alot of priority questions happens to be a very good thing.

Please come back after you find out your actual results and let us know. I am sure that you did better than you expected.

I felt Like I was guessing through the entire test. I also thought I had failed when I walked out of the testing center. I also had 75 questions. I am willing to bet big money that you passed. I passed and you will too. ;)

Hi there

I felt exactly as you did,the test shut off at 75,i started to panic.Was convinced i failed,told everyone i failed and cried the whole day!!!

Got my unofficial results last week and i PASSED.

Im sure you did too,hang in there and keep on praying;)

Don't be too sure!! I walked out of there feeling dumber than a rock! I felt like I guessed at all the questions and was sure I failed!! I got the min. number of questions for the PN NCLEX which is 85. I passed!! You just don't know for sure!! Good luck and come back to let us know you passed!!

I'm sure you passed. Is there anyone that you have ever heard of that got the min. amt of q's on the PN or Rn nclex and failed? I have never heard of anybody.

I know I made some stupid mistakes...this is so discouraging....:o

I can guarantee I failed...looking back on some of the answers and I know I read the questions too fast, i had about 5 priority questions, hemophilia, cancer, meds ( which I am horrible at).....but like they say hind sight is 20/20....I am just really disappointed I wanted this thing behind me......

ok now i am freaking out becuz i know i got all 5 of my med questions wrong......what the heck was I thinking!!!!!!!!! I can't take this much longer!!!! So to be rattling on but I am really upset.....

Shannon, your post could have been written by me last week. I had a couple of very simple questions that I completely blew. The computer shut off at 75 questions and I went home and cried, *positive* that I had failed, despite being a good student with a high GPA and not having struggled in any of my classes.

The next day when I looked for my name on the BON site, I saw that I was issued a license. I had passed! Please be kind to yourself - take a deep breath, maybe have a glass of wine and try to relax. Good luck!

why can't I stop crying.....this is horrible and when it comes back *fail* I have no idea what I am going to do.........I started a great job last week but if I fail I cannot stay there, there goes that :o the meds questions screwed me up and my priority ones were very hard...i was looking for airway and of course it wasn't there.....I am going to be abasket case until it is official..........Thanks for listening......
