The data reflects that crossings were down during a pandemic and then rose dramatically when all of those waiting people responded to the end of the health emergency. Now, after thoughtful efforts to reduce the root causes of the migration, the numbers are dropping. If only we had sweeping immigration legislation to increase funding and modernization of our system at the same time.

The principal author and negotiator of the bill was Senator Lankford. He is a very conservative republican from Oklahoma. Are you suggesting that he was part of this conspiracy to make Republicans look weak on this issue?

To question one, likely. I looked for context for the chant from the parade in 2018, and couldn't find any. I do think she has evolved to a more nuanced stance.
As to fracking, I think she understands how important fracking is to local communities. However, as the US moves away from petroleum based sources of energy, fracking may become obsolete.
How fortunate it is that she "evolved" at a time she and the Democrats need votes from those whose livelihood and economy is dependent on fracking.

I'm hoping the big proponents of fracking will evolve to understand the environmental impacts, including release of CO2 and groundwater pollution. An old lady can dream.

The polls suggest it's not working. Trump's supposedly poor debate performance, his perceived "mental illness", corrupted judicial officers, and not even Taylor Swift seem to be helping your candidate.
The press seems to be subtlety turning on her. Perhaps sensing what I said before. Everyone knows she'll be terrible and the liberal cabal doesn't want to be stuck with her in 28 if she wins now. They think surviving 4 years of Trump, getting him out of the way and then starting anew will be better in the long run.
